We were looking for a place to take my mother out to brunch for her birthday whe we discovered Blue Rooster. Wow what a place! Weoreder our meal and enjoyed so.e ciffee while we waited on our meal.. The coffee was excellent. My mother and son ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken was perfect combined with the golden brown waffle and a bit of sausage gravy. They both enjoyed them. Immensely. My wife ordered the vegetable frittata. I tasted it and it was phenomenal. I had the black bean burger and I must say it was the best black bean burger I have ever tasted. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

This was my first visit to Blue Rooster, and it was awesome! We were greeted when we entered, ordering is super easy, staff were all pleasant, and the food and coffee were delicious! We will definitely go there again for a tasty breakfast!

A small cozy place with a good menu. Breakfast and lunch is served all day. Seat yourself and order/pay at the counter. Many people there ordering to-go. I enjoyed my lox bagel and my dad’s pancakes we’re huge. My dad was very disappointed with the scrapple, it was a thin slice no thicker than a slice of bacon (see pic, they charge $3 for it). We did notice they did not charge us for it so maybe it is not supposed to be like that?? Not sure, but my dad didn’t show any interest in returning after that, though I might get him to change his mind with the shrimp and grits….

Ive lived in Cape St. Claire since 2014 and have been going to Blue Rooster for years! I recently moved to downtown Annapolis and came back today after a 2 month Hiatus. It was a special occasion and we ordered and sat down. We waited for exactly 1 hour and 7 minutes until I got up and asked to change it to a to go order. They said our food had already been plated and that they could give us boxes. The food was very cold and they gave me some bogus steak strips (2) for my steak and eggs. Very displeased with the change. They were not busy when i asked for a to go order change. What happened?!

My husband and I just ordered takeout from here and we are very disappointed in the service. We had Gabby take our order and she was extremely rude. I ordered my drink and was starting to order my food when she very abruptly stopped me saying “Pause. What kind of milk do you want?” I’ve never heard somebody say “Pause” when they needed something clarified. My husband and I found that to be completely uncalled for. In addition, she gave me the wrong drink after she repeated exactly what I said I wanted. We waited for our food for about 10-15 minutes for 2 bagel sandwiches which were done and sitting on the counter but no workers called our name until the manager realized we were just standing there and asked. I appreciated the manager but I am disappointed in the service. 2 stars because the food was decent.
