This country styled establishment sets the bar high for all theme park food stops. Not only is it particularly decorated to fit the backwoods aesthetic, the team assigned to keep the restaurant running have proven to be very helpful! Ethan, the manager with a smile, came through for me more than once when I lost my phone and dropped my slice of pizza. I recommend Blue Ridge Kitchen to anyone who happens to be passing through Carowinds and is searching for a place to take a breather.

If you come across this place when you are on your trip to Carowinds, keep walking. It is not worth your time, your money, or anything of the sort. It is foul. Your only choice of an entree is chicken tenders (dry, hard, cold) and supposedly they have a choice of four sides but the only thing available when we went through was mushy Mac and Cheese. As another reviewer so eloquently said, if you’re hungry, you’re better off to stay hungry.

If I could give negative stars I would, the ONLY thing that was of any kindness was the one older lady serving she was so sweet. Other than that this was hands down the worst experience ever and honestly should be shut down. My wife and I got one sausage plate and one bbq plate. The sausage was cold and I’m pretty positive old and had been sitting out, the bbq….dont even get me started that was AWFUL, dry, I don’t know what bbq world they live in but that sauce looked like something poured out of the bottom of a trash can and was I would go as far as say almost sour. We got our plates handed to us went to check out was not told drinks weren’t included ( after you pay an arm and a leg for garbage ) so got that and honestly the lemonade was the only thing remotely digestible. Then on the way to the table which there was not one clean table at all inside, there were also zero forks and the condiment containers were cracked or just wide open. I let the attendant that checked us out know and she was COMPLETELY clueless, acted like I was a complete bother and didn’t know how to change out anything so she said “I’ll let someone know” and went and sat back on her stool. No one wiped down tables, checked on condiments. OH and there was a biscuit included in the meal and I had to wait on that and once I did receive it….mind you it was “fresh out of the oven” so they say we’re hard as bricks so let’s try warmed up. DO NOT GO HERE I am currently sick as a dog from the few bites I did have because I was starving so shame on me for that one but don’t make my mistake of going here at all. Save your time and money! Whoever does run this particular restaurant should be ashamed.

I never post reviews, so this is aimed towards the people who run this place and not so much the customers. There’s enough bad reviews for people to decide if they want to give this place a dime.
Wife, 6 year old daughter and myself, 2 chicken sandwiches, a sausage (no bun no trimmings) fries and 2 drinks, 83 bucks!!!!
On top of that the food was nothing to write home about. I would pay 83 bucks for a mouth watering succulent meal, not this.
That is not robbery anymore, that’s an attack on human decency. Someone in charge has to make a call and reconsider this business model, it’s borderline unethical

Food is absolutely terrible. Chicken is dry and flavorless. Mac and cheese tastes like glue. Brussel sprouts came out of a can. The only thing edible was the cobbler. Was it really worth it for Carowinds to kick out CFA? Take your business to Panda. Hopefully they stick around.

So to be honest and other food tastes like you think it should taste like when you eat a piece of rotisserie chicken it tastes sweet. Everything tastes off like it has too much sugar or too much salt and like sugar in the things that shouldn’t contain sugar. I feel like their food always makes me feel sick and it always makes me feel super full really quickly even though I know I didn’t really eat anything and then later my body does not respond to the food very well. There’s something in the food I think designed to make you just feel really full and yucky. Nothing feels or tastes like good healthy food it all tastes like it’s fake like dog food I don’t know how to explain it.

Food was terrible, was out of most of their items, flavorless but when flavor was there it was terrible, no refills but I snuck and refilled my drink. Something was in the barbecue sauce, hands down the worst barbecue I’ve ever tasted. Tastes like someone in New England tried to start a barbecue restaurant, owners should feel nothing but shame

I dont get the bad reviews… I had an AMAZING chicken sandwich here. Pretty expensive, but that’s expected for a theme park. Honestly, I would say the chicken sandwich was better than Chick Fil A. And I love chick fil a. But this place is really good, I dont understand why it is rated so low.

It sucked they ran out of everything so half of us had to go somewhere else so we separated they had no diet and the lady would not refill it the food was trash. The chicken tenders were horrible and the mac & cheese looked like mashed potatoes. And for four of us it was $120 for this trash if I have one chance to go back in time, I would choose the minute before I walked in this place, and I would go somewhere else. also, they had no lids or straws, and it was very hard to access all the condiments.
