This was my first time going to the Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar and Grill. We were invited as part of a large group for a friend’s birthday party. Eric, our server, was fabulous! The food and drinks were all great. The ambience is very elevated.

Just like a grocery store that’s kept freezing cold to keep the unhealthy near expired food fresh, a spot that has super stinky fish often correlates to the same. I’ve been to plenty of fish markets, even the famous Pikes Place Fish Market ( @pikeplacefish ) and it smells like heaven beyond fresh. A super stinky sushi spot will leave you and your date reeking of fish. Trust me, it often signals it’s not the freshest to consume. It will only take one food poisoning to learn this harsh lesson. With all that said, when I crave sushi, I always love trying a new spot.
I’m not sure why it took me so long to try Blue Ribbon Sushi ( @blueribbonsushi ) at my favorite local Red Rock Casino ( @redrockcasino ). This place was fire. Everything was super fresh, beyond flavorful, and the oyster shooters were the best I’ve ever had hands down. I could easily eat there multiple times per week!

The fresh fish is amazing here, one of the best in Las Vegas but the real star of the show is the pickled wasabi! It’s what keeps me coming back time and time again.

Came to Blue Ribbon to check out their Social Hour which turned out to be Anti-Social Hour. Felt ripped off with what we received for the inflated prices as if we were on the strip. We paid $40 for a beer, a soda, tiny order of chicken bites (which were overbattered trimmings they can’t use for other chicken dishes), and skinny fries with ketchup.
We ordered the chicken bites which were so small and did not receive the two dips that they were supposed to come with. The “Waygu Fat Fries” looked and tasted like the skinny fries you get for free with a burger at the café.
The service was ok but the seating was annoying. The little booths look cool but the guy behind me kept moving and you feel any movement into the back of your seat.
Overall, I will not return to Blue Ribbon. Very disappointed as we were looking forward to checking it out.

We had dinner at Blue Ribbon Sushi at Red Rock and overall, it was a fantastic experience. We ordered a fixed menu that included spicy edamame, shrimp tempura, Blue Ribbon fried chicken, and gingerbread pudding – all absolutely delicious. The spicy edamame had the perfect kick, the tempura was light and crispy, and the gingerbread pudding ( a must have) was a warm, comforting way to end the meal.
The highlight for me was the Tiger Roll – easily a 20/10! So fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. On the other hand, I was really disappointed with the Blue Ribbon Maki Roll. The lobster inside was oddly hard, lacked flavor, and honestly had an off taste – I couldn’t even finish it.
My husband gave the fried chicken a solid 9/10, and I’d agree – super crispy and juicy, but could maybe use a touch more seasoning.
Overall, aside from the one disappointing roll, everything else was a hit. Would definitely come back – just skipping the lobster roll next time!

Omg! This place is such a great experience! Everything we had was delightful but the real start of the show are the Chicken Wings! Who would’ve thought but no joke probably the best in town! The Scoth/Whiskey is some of the best you’ll find around town and certainly at any restaurant off strip! Service was great as well.

The sushi restaurant is located just inside the red rock station casino. There is plenty of parking for the restaurant. The decor is very nice. There is an outdoor seating option. The service was excellent. They have a good collection of sale and other hard liquor at the bar. The food was excellent

Blue Ribbon is a consistent favorite of mine. As you can see from my photos, I enjoy returning for more!
The quality served is excellent. I feel like I’m back in Japan enjoying fresh quality selections here.
Service has been great.
Recommend visiting at lunch or social hour. Prices are best! That said, no issues going for a nice dinner date, as well.
Highly recommend! I’ll be back.

Quick bite before the movies. We ordered spicy crispy rice, Blue Ribbon fried chicken, spicy tuna handrolls, and spicy crab handrolls. All were very delicious. Enjoyed the happy hour price for the handrolls
