The is a PB classic. It’s a great pit spot no matter what you are doing on island and a great place to pick up snacks, items for a picnic, wine, little gifts for loved ones, hostess gifts etc, a treat for yourself. There is something for everyone.
You can’t help but smile as you walk in, you feel as though you’ve been transported to France.
We always pop in for a pastry and snacks. Love Blue Provence!

Yesterday, January 20, 2025, I felt like having a cappuccino with a plum tart. I saw this place, went inside, and there was a very friendly girl who served me. She told me she spoke Spanish and was from Central America. She was very professional and charming. I bought a cappuccino, a plum tart, and a baguette and butter to take home. The next day, I went back for the same thing. This time there were more people waiting until it was my turn to order. I ordered the same thing as the day before from the same girl who had served me the previous day, and I said, “I want a cappuccino, an plum tart, and a baguette to go.” As I was taking out my wallet to pay, another person in front of me asked me the same thing, and I told them I had already ordered with the girl. The other person mumbled something I didn’t understand. Then a man came over—I think he’s the owner—a rather nasty man with an angry and very unpleasant face. He spoke to me in French, and I said, “I don’t understand you?” And he told me to leave the place. Don’t ask me why! Maybe he’s not used to how New Yorkers are—quick and efficient. We don’t waste time ordering something so simple. Our time is very valuable. The good news is I won’t have to spend my money at that place because in New York we have the best restaurants, cafes, and gourmet supermarkets in the world. I think that person needs to study customer service. Very unpleasant man . ♀️

This is a lovely store with the highest quality products and a great selection of French gourmet goods. Don’t miss the bakery items – from what I’ve tried so far, their financier and rice pudding are in a league of their own. If you want real French food in Palm Beach, start here.

I passed by here today while walking and decided to pop inside. I was impressed by the selection of French pantry items as well as baked goods. I bought a baguette and the Maison bordier French butter. The butter is pricey, about $18 USD per piece, but it is the best butter I have ever tried. The baguette was also fresh and delicious. The lady who sold it to me was also friendly and entertained my attempts to speak broken French. I will definitely be back in the future.

Purchased a pastry that was hard as a rock have been buying here for at least 15 years. I told him I wanted my money back for the pastry. They said we have a store policy. There’s no refunds. I told him I will never come back here again I have never complained. I paid $90 for a jar of honey many times purchased many cheeses many danishes baguettes They couldn’t care less about if they lost me as a customer. She actually told me she didn’t care they refused to give me my money back. Maybe they don’t realize Palm beach is a very tight net community. Good news and bad news travels just as quickly no business etiquette. This was not the first time I’ve had old food from this establishment, I was in Orlando yesterday at a French restaurant called the French baguette. It gets 10 out of 10 too bad they’re not here.

Not sure who on earth would leave anything but 5-stars for this place, but take it from a local, this simply adorable bakery is nothing short of spectacular. I didn’t even eat anything on my first visit but I cannot wait. Great work, everyone.

Rarely will I take the time to sit down and add a negative review but this shop deserves it . Owning a buisness comes with responsibilities to create a welcoming atmosphere and great products . My experience today was quite the opposite . The staff/owner condescending behavior was very apparent from the moment you walk in . Life’s too short for mediocre pastries & extremly overpriced products . Plenty of other specialty and gourmet establishments that do not miss all three core marks to succeed like Blue Provence has done .
