I am rating this a 2 because of the atmosphere only on the deck. Otherwise it is a 1 star inside and based on the horrible food that they serve. It looks fairly decent but the crabs cakes were like an appetizer, zucchini had so much soy sauce we couldn’t finish it and not many shrimp for $28. Way overpriced for horrible food. Hyatt needs to do better to keep people coming to visit here.

Part of the Hyatt Regency resort and the prices seem to match the upscale environment. The food is mediocre. The kicker to me was the local oysters at $3.50 each, we get the same ones here for $2.00. West coast oysters are priced at $3.00.
We didn’t go back during our stay at the resort. We went into Cambridge to find better food at reasonable prices.

The food was great. The service was awesome, and the chef even came out to greet us and ask how our food was. Inside and outside seating. This place is a must try!

Blue Point Provision is a beautiful half mile walk from the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay. The views from this establishment are amazing, the service was fantastic, and the food was excellent. This is definitely one of the nicer restaurants in the area.

Service and atmosphere are amazing. The food was lacking flavour. Presentation and plating are on point, but seasoning was forgotten. Can’t say enough how amazing the service and pub tenders are. Cheers for that.

We at here in the last night before they closed for the winter. The food was amazing but the views were breathtaking.
We got the buffet. It was expensive but it was worth it.
The staff was very nice. They even gave us extra cornbread for us to take home.
I can’t wait to go back. This place really makes you feel like you’re on vacation.

Not sure why this place had so many negative reviews. We got quick service and food was good, some portions are small but that’s not at out the norm. We had a great experience. We very accomdating wirh my two little ones. I would say the best food on the Hyatt resort.

Great views of the water if you sit outside or near the windows. Delicious corn muffins served for dinner. There is a bar area and lots of seating inside and out fun. This is one of the restaurant on the property where are the Hyatt Regency is located and has limited openings in the off-season. I have stayed at this Hyatt multiple times and found that blue point is typically closed in the beginning of the week unless it is summer time. The restaurant is very attractive inside with nice high ceilings bright colors and unique ceiling fans. They even have a cool fish shaped crayon holder for the kids. If you are staying at the Hyatt or passing through Cambridge it’s definitely a great place to stop and eat they do offer live music from time to time.
