I got the cream of crab soup. It was very disappointing. Very little crab . No lump meat at all. To thick, too much old bay. It wasn’t even edible. I took a half a bite and threw the rest away. The person I went with got a half dozen blue crab. He said they were black inside, obviously bad. He threw them away .So it was a waste of 45 dollars. Will never go there again.

They were the best crabs ever. They have sold out of all the crabs except the large which were $99 a dozen and was well worth it. Went perfect with my cold Coors light. My friend doesn’t usually eat crabs but he ate three and enjoyed them.

Tried this place a couple times at first it was great over the past couple months quality has gone down the drain. I order the crab cluster bag with potatoes and corn. I used to get a full cluster maybe even two if they were both smaller. I started to get just one with maybe only 3 or 4 smaller legs no big claw. The meat is dried out and just poor all around. I’m very disappointed because crabs are my favorite and this place was my go to for awhile. We also got the cream of crab to try and it had hardly any lump crab in it just tiny peices that you barely tasted it. Extremely disappointing.

Amazing local crab store. Came from Philly on business trip. Bought 3 to try. Came back next day to get some for family. I wouldn’t mind to drive there again just for those crabs and service I got there. Super friendly staff

Small menu but delicious food. The service was exceptional. This was my first crab cake and I really enjoyed it. The employees walked me through the local way to eat it and even cooked it while I wait.

I also noticed the live crabs in the case. After inquiring, the employee took one in the back to clean it up. Then he gave me advice on how to cook it.

The crab cake did seem a little pricey for a 6 ounce cake. And it was a little bland but overall a decent experience.

Ordered a crab pretzel and cream of crab soup and both taste odd. Not very crabby. More like oyster stew and a soggy greasy cheese melt on a soggy pretzel. Absolutely horrible and saddened. Too much money for bad food. They used to be good a long time ago. Stomach started hurting immediately. Rock salt is the way to go now

Not at all impressed. I was in the area and decided to get a quick Seafood lunch. The 6 oz jumbo lump crab cake was $14.99 and was woefully under seasoned. I had to add salt just to give it some flavor. A Sprinkle of Old Bay would have went a long way with this crab cake. But what really solidified the terrible experience for me was the cream of crab soup. I would not describe it as a soup at all. It was more like a gel or a slime consistency. Not creamy at all. I took a single bite before tossing it out. Just awful. Would not recommend

Received a crab cake and dozen jumbo steamed shrimp delivered by doordash. The crab cake was bland and dry, with little spice, minced crab, and many small pieces of shell. The shrimp were slimy and smelled of ammonia. I tested a couple, spit most of it out and threw them all away. It’s a shame because this was a birthday gift lunch from a family member. I called the store to let them know about the poor quality and got only “sorry about that”.

Seriously, anyone who’s worked in the seafood business for more than a week knows good from bad. I can only assume they have poor inventory control and do not care. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

TLDR; prepare to be exceedingly disappointed.

Honestly, I really wanted to like this place. When I walked in, another customer was at the counter talking to the employee, so I waited more than 6 feet away. Turns out, the other customer was just waiting, but the employee ignored me. Another customer entered a couple minutes after me and got service almost immediately by another employee. The waiting customer walked away, so I approached the counter. The employee behind the counter was focused on putting utensils and condiments into two plastic bags, so I was ignored for several more minutes (not exaggerating the time). Finally, I was told my order, which was placed four hours ago, was not quite ready even though I was exactly on time for the pickup. Ten minutes later I was on my way home with my order.
Two soups were in one bag. The other bag contained an appetizer and two “entrees”., and weighed about as much as one medium no-meat salad. The rubbery, overcooked Stuffed Mushrooms ranged in size from a quarter to a half-dollar. My Stuffed Shrimp “entree” was a single medium sized butterflied shrimp with a golf-ball sized “crab cake”. Think “amuse bouche” instead of “entree”. The “crab cake” had nearly zero identifiable crab meat – almost all filler. The photo of the “Stuffed Shrimp” entree on the website (included in my review for comparison) showed THREE stuffed shrimp. Even if there were three, it would still be appetizer sized. The Stuffed Mushrooms also had a much more flattering photo on the website. I think this practice is known as “bait and switch”. The Maryland Crab and Cream of Crab soups were OK – and no better than OK. I will confess that I am partially culpable, since I did not pay sufficient attention to the prices. In retrospect, the prices, at least for the “entrees”, were suspiciously low (and yet still overpriced).

$38 meal for 2… 2 crab clusters, 1lb shrimp, sausage, 3 potatoes, 3 corn Monday special

Absolutely delicious and on point. This was plenty of food for 2 adults. Corn and potatoes were cooked perfectly. Shrimp were twice the size of any other we’ve gotten at any seafood restaurant. The price was more than ideal, this portion would cost close to $100 anywhere else. I’m pretty sure that says it all, will definitely be returning for more!!!
