Awesome little place right on the ocean! We walked on the beach from the house we stayed at. In 5 days we decided to eat here twice and it did not disappoint! We had a waiter for lunch the first time, he was very attentive, had a great attitude and made sure we had everything we needed. For dinner another day we had a waitress that again had a great personality and was very attentive. Overall my favorite place to eat on the island. Dog friendly, beautiful view, great service and the food and drinks were .
Grouper tacos 10/10
Mahi reuben 8/10
Blackened mahi 10/10
Mango daiquiri 10/10 for a sweeter drink
Margaritas 8/10 great flavor could have been a little more alcohol forward.

We ate here twice while on vacation. Both times the food was fantastic. Fried oysters, shrimp tacos, and blackened fish tacos were excellent! I got the sandblaster drink the first time, it was tasty but I wasn’t expecting it to be frozen. The second time I got two other drinks, both on ice, they were both good. Service was polite and friendly. Ambiance was nice. Definitely recommend eating here.

Grouper bites gone wrong! We’ve been coming here for many years and it’s always my first goal to make it in town before the cutoff of 4pm to order the grouper bites that have been historically absolutely delicious. We arrived today and ordered them to-go at 3:45pm. However, we arrived home with a box of great disappointment. Immediately I noticed the “shape” was different (see first pic of long strips) but as I stated to eat them, the quality and texture of these “grouper” bites was nothing like in years previous. (See 2nd pic for Feb 2025 version.) PUH-LEASE, for the love of God, go back to the old style. They were such a delight that I didn’t mind spending nearly $30. Now I feel like I wasted my money on this dry strip version of grouper. If you changed distributors, chefs, etc., please change it back!

The food was great, however we come from Maine, and it’s just difficult to compare the seafood there vs here. Very satisfied and that’s why it gets an overall 5 stars, even though the food barely missed the mark when compared to what we are used to living in Maine.

The beach access was pretty amazing, the back deck dumped right onto the beach, and the tiki bar was pretty neat having such a great view. I only rated it four stars because the tables were a little tight and cheaply constructed. Poor material. I believe plastic and umbrellas were kind of almost at your head level attacking you. Could be much better with shade sales in the area creating a better canopy for sightseeing to the beach. Outside of that, the service was great, the food was pretty delicious and you can’t beat the amazing access to walk right onto the beach.

I don’t always find a place on the coast that feels like it was designed for a perfect family getaway… but when I do…
…it’s somewhere like **Blue Parrot Ocean Front Cottages**.
You arrive and the ocean is already doing half the talking. Waves rolling in steady, salty air drifting through the balcony doors, and that wide Atlantic horizon stretching out like nature decided to put on a show just for your vacation. The cottage itself feels relaxed but polished—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up so you can settle in without missing a beat.
Morning coffee on the porch becomes a ritual. The boys run straight toward the beach while you take a second to appreciate the view, knowing the day is going to unfold exactly the way a beach day should: sunshine, sand, and laughter echoing over the water.
Inside, everything feels well kept and welcoming—beds that invite you to collapse after a long day in the surf, spaces that make it easy for the family to gather, and the kind of atmosphere that quietly says someone cares about the experience guests are having.
**“Some beach stays are nice… the great ones feel like the ocean itself rolled out the welcome mat.”**
And that’s what makes a stay at Blue Parrot stand out. It’s not just the location—though waking up steps from the ocean certainly doesn’t hurt. It’s the feeling that every detail works together to make the trip smooth, memorable, and just a little bit special.
Stay coastal, my friends.

What an absolute gem by the beach! The atmosphere is unbeatable, relaxed, breezy, and full of that coastal charm that makes you never want to leave. The ocean views are stunning, especially at sunset, and the food matches the vibe perfectly. I tried the shrimp tacos, and wow, they came loaded, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Every bite tasted fresh and delicious. Great service, great vibes, and amazing food, this place is a must visit for anyone who loves good food with a view!
