I normally do it leave reviews but my experience with them last night has me posting this. I order from blue ocean and enjoy their food but last night was truly an experience and they have officially lost a customer. The delivery guy is always rude but last night took it to another level to the point where I almost called the cops. I missed his call and less than one min I called him back and he yelled making me aware he was outside. I paid it no mind and proceed to get my food. I always tip, no matter where I go and I’m a great tipper so of course this wouldn’t be an exception however he tried to short change me. I corrected him with the amount owed and with an attitude he RELUCTANTLY gave me my right change. In the process of going in his pocket he litters my steps with tissue falling out of his pocket. I hand him his tip, he snatched the money and walks away leaving his tissue on my steps. I called out to him to come get his tissues and he starts this loud rant, in his language, screaming. I called back to speak with the Manager to report what happened and he apologized, I then tell him I no longer want him delivering food to my house, NOTE this is the second time of having an incident with the same delivery person. Manager tells me well I would need to come in and pick up my food moving forward as he is short on delivery personnel if I don’t want him delivering. Something to tell a customer!!!!

Icing on the cake, delivery guy calls my phone after I finished speaking with the manager and starts yelling at me asking why I called the store to complain about him. Excuse me?!?! I told him to never call my phone again and he is still yelling. I told him he has nerves calling my phone and this is now harassment. I told him do not call me again and if he comes to my house I am calling the cops and hung up on him. I call back to the store to report the harassment to the manager and he refused to come to the phone advising he was busy. BET! Food was also horrible, worst I have ever had from them.

I will be taking my business back to TUNG TIN who is directly across the street and does have better food! Only reason I order from blue is because of their Thai rice but I can live without spending my money to be disrespected! Too many options offering the same services for that!

The delivery guy is rude because he doesn’t get tip. I always order from there spending no more than $50. Then tonight, my husband order us food for delivery , they had us waiting and call to tell us to come pick our food up. After that the delivery guy says something to the woman on the phone. Next thing you know the lady says “oh the delivery guy is not making any deliveries”. I simply hung up. I had a long day at work, i expected to order food when I get off . It’s your job to deliver! And serve without asking for a tip rudely EVERY SINGLE TIME! Never again.

I ordered here last night and got food poisoning immediately after! I’m not sure if they’re leaving the food out but my food was delivered in 15 minutes and I live in a whole different city. I would not recommend. They’re falling off.

They only have two stars because the food is hot , the chicken wings are golden on the outside, black on the inside and flavorless. Shrimp and broccoli had a taste that wasn’t tasty at all(not sour or even earthy, but not good) thank god for sauce packets that they give out sparingly. Good Alternative – Kwok Ping in Newark, Great Wall Other side of Newark.

Fresh prepared food. There’s so many options to choose from. Easy to order online to pick up or deliver. I always try something new. My new absolute favorite would have to be the Thai chicken fried rice and the cheese wonton as dessert. The wonton soup is good. Chicken wings are well drained and not greasy at all which I love love love. I still have a few new items I would like to try from them. Fresh food takes time! If you’re in the neighborhood definitely give this place a try, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Convient parking on both sides of the street and there’s even a parking lot on the same side as the restaurant.

I’ve ordered from Blue Ocean multiple times before and the food has always been great! However, last night I found a very small piece of metal in my vegetable lo mein. Thankfully I realized right before i swallowed it. Again I love the food and I’ve never had any issues before but considering how dangerous this is I had to make this review.

Blue Ocean has recently upped their game. Two years ago I ordered from here and the food was horrible so we decided to go to the chinese opposite the road. But their quality has gone down drastically so we decided to give Blue Ocean another go, and this time they didn’t disappoint. Their pineapple chicken was great and the soup was decent enough. I am keen to try their Thai food, really hope its authentic and they’re not just catering of the western palate.

The delivery person cursed me out because i fidnt give more money than a five dollar tip and when he dropped a used tissue out his pocket I asked him to pick it up. I called the store to complain and the delivery person called me back and threatened me.
