We came here to have brunch with our marriage ministry. #StoneLove The food was delicious! I think my favorite was the biscuit, the gravy was really good also. They make it without meat so I could eat it! It’s often times people put sausage in the gravy and I have a pork allergy. The prices were reasonable and you get quite a bit of food. They also have other meat options if you don’t eat pork. I can’t wait to go back and try the lunch/dinner food and some of those decadent looking desserts.

Our first time here & suggested via a friend for their specials. Impressive hamburger – the Tuesday night special. It was big, juicy, and tasted great. Hubs got fries & they were okay, but the fried zucchini was better IMO. Lots of options for sides, which is very nice!
Shannon, the server, and had the entire room to herself & was impressive!! I would have been stressed out – she’s a pro! We’re regulars now! Great job Blue Mound!

The food is great with a wide selection. The ingredients are fresh. Fast cooks and clean atmosphere. We were quickly seated on a busy Sunday. 2/3 visits we got the same rude waitress. The first visit, we assumed she was having a bad day but our third visit, she was soo put out having to wait on us. We ended up grabbing our own sauce and cutlery from another table so we could avoid asking her because god forbid we request anything from her. Every table she visited looked defeated after she left. She ruined a great vibe and I won’t be returning. Would not recommend.

Outstanding place! The place is super clean with a cute decor that makes you feel like you are in a small town on vacation! The food was delicious and I had to take half of my veggie omelette and hash browns home. My husband indulged in the Mr. Porky omelette and we split a buttermilk pancake which melts in your mouth! Arlington peeps, if you haven’t been to this awesome local restaurant then you are missing out! Home cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner all at a good price and served with friendly and attentive service!

First time here, chose this place for the reviews. I got a small Roadhouse vibe. We were seated promptly. I wish I could remember our servers name, this review is 2 weeks late so, my bad, however she was awesome, very friendly with fun attitude. The coffee cup was always full. My boss ordered chick fried steak, which he said was very filling. I ordered French toast breakfast, which was delish. The bacon was perfect crispy, hash browns were ok, nothing special. Overall I liked this place and would probably frequent if I were closer. I recommend this place. You’ll like it.

We decided to check this place out to try somewhere new. We were hesitant, because we arrived around 45 minutes before they closed and didn’t want to be ‘those’ people.
But, we are sure glad we did. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The server was kind and attentive. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were a great value for the reasonable price.
My family of 4 all ordered different sides with our meals, and we ended up sharing them, because they were so good. Highlights were the twice baked potatoes, the well-seasoned fries, and the Mac and cheese.
I really enjoyed my Chicken fried chicken, and my kid’s mom got an enormous burger, that looked and tasted incredible.
We took home desert and, my goodness, were they yummy!!! I highly reccomend the German chocolate cream pie.
We are looking forward to returning to try out their breakfast next time.

Mediocre at best. Had the chicken fried steak. It was okay. My side was VERY dry mashed potatoes;. Waitress was nice and attentive, but when asked if the catfish was filets or strips, she said she didn’t know. That’s it. Didn’t offer to go ask, or seem to care that the question was left unanswered. After a few moments of silence, my mom just ordered something else. The biggest disappointment for me was the strawberry cake that I got to-go. Worst piece of cake I have ever tried to eat. It was SO dense, and heavy, and chewy. Oddly, the cornbread with lunch was the exact same; dense, heavy, and chewy.
To be fair, it looks Ike they are actively hiring for a cook. I know this place generally gets good reviews ~ maybe the good cook who earned those accolades is no longer there and my family just had unfortunate timing? I may give them another try for breakfast (when I see that help wanted post taken down )

Anna is AMAZING!! We are not done eating yet but I had to give her a review!! She is so kind, very attentive, and quick in her feet!!! The way she is going I see her running her own business one day!!! The owners better keep her she is great!! They should utilize her by training new staff and teaching them on how to build a culture of hospitality.
