Easily the best breakfast spot I’ve ever been to! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I had the salmon omelet and it was incredible—perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and light but filling at the same time. The portions are generous, the coffee is strong and smooth, and every plate that came out of the kitchen looked just as tempting.
The atmosphere makes it even better. Cozy, welcoming, and buzzing with good energy, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer. The staff is friendly, quick, and always makes you feel at home. If you’re looking for a breakfast experience that leaves you smiling the rest of the day, this is it.

The French toast was by far the best I’ve ever had/ I’ve traveled significantly and I’m telling you, you’ll be foaming at the mouth! The homemade pecan butter was delish. I didn’t even use much syrup.. my honey had a scooter and he said it was top notch! Great little hike in the wall place by the marina!! Loved it

Visiting from Seattle and was happy to find such a gem of a place. As an interracial couple in a small town we always judge a places “welcoming” vibes by how we’re welcomed when we walk in. We felt IMMEDIATELY comfortable by the greeting and some of the other customers eating even said hello. This is clearly a “regulars” type of place but with a warm cozy and welcoming vibe. The food was good and the service was even better. We ordered one item from the regular menu and one from the Fall menu as well, they both were delish. Thanks for making our morning awesome.

Went during the Wooden Boat Festival, so this place was slammed. You have to line up with the people paying to get a buzzy pager for your seat…don’t barge in. Wait was about 30 min…but it was WORTH IT. I don’t drink coffee, but my dining partner does and couldn’t stop raving about it. I DO eat corned beef hash though, and this is me raving about that. Easily in my top 3 plates of hash for 2025…I will make it a point to go back, though maybe not during a big local event! Extra props to the staff for handling the ridiculous line so gracefully and for producing so much delicious grub!

We came here for breakfast during what must have been one of their busiest times—Labor Day weekend, around 9 a.m. on Sunday. Even so, the food was delicious, the service remained attentive, and the atmosphere was wonderfully cozy. Highly recommended!

My wife and I visited this place over Valentine’s weekend. Cozy, but not crowded; rustic, yet not run-down; friendly, but not cloying. And the food was incredible (in more ways than one – we’ll get to that). My wife ordered a breakfast burrito and a pancake; I had their cinnamon roll French toast (you read that right). While we thoroughly enjoyed our main dishes, my wife stopped about halfway through the pancake. One bite told me exactly why – these pancakes not only dwarf the plates they’re served on, they have the density of a neutron star. Steak comes to mind. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing necessarily, but these pancakes are not for the faint of heart nor full of stomach. Even I was unable to finish off the mighty beast. But if that sounds like your kind of culinary adventure, I cannot recommend these guys enough. I look forward to my next visit, but it begs the question – do I attempt to slay the final boss of pancakes again? Time will tell…

My husband had the Basic Breakfast and I had the Veggie hash with two eggs over easy, basically a deconstructed veggie omelette. It was excellent! Fresh veggies were cooked just right, still with some texture and crunch. Eggs were perfect consistency. Their homemade wheat toast reminded us of the Bergen bread we made at a recent baking class in Vermont. Seeds galore! And there was a touch of tart reminiscent of sourdough.

The service was extremely friendly and spot-on. The parking is limited…so good luck with that. We had to circle around a few times in order to find a spot. It’s a charming tiny restaurant. The food was tasty. Nothing out of the ordinary. My husband enjoyed the hash with eggs and I had eggs, bacon and pancake. I told them that it was my birthday and the waitresses sang to me and gave me a pancake with a candle on it. I really appreciated that thought gesture. We would go back for sure.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at the Blue Moose Cafe, and it was an awesome experience. The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious, with flavors that exceeded our expectations. In my opinion you cannot go wrong with their eggs benedict. Although there was a short wait to be seated, it was well worth it as the overall dining experience more than made up for it. I highly recommend the Blue Moose Cafe to anyone looking for excellent food and exceptional service.
