Came to visit some relatives in Johnson City this week and they kept raving about Blue Moose and brought us here for dinner. This place was Awesome! The food prepared was Delicious and we received Exceptional service. The whole atmosphere was a Great Vibe. I wished we lived closer so we could make this our weekly spot. We will definitely be back! This place is now our new go to every time we visit Johnson City.

Was excited to stop in for supper at this restaurant tonight but got let down. My wife, son and I went to this location while out of town after a basketball game. We walked in and were immediately sat down. We got an appetizer and waited on our food. I got a jumbo wing platter with italian parmesan wings and cajun fries. It also came with mac and cheese. When our waitress brought out my plate she remarked on how much sauce they had put on my wings, but never offered to have it fixed. It was nearly a bowl of sauce. Me, not being someone with money to blow, never being one to complain or send anything back, managed to force 2 of these wings down. That’s literally all I could make myself eat they were sauced so much they were almost inedible. Then I decided I would have a cajun fry…… guess what…… no relief there! They were so over seasoned I got choked up and had to start downing my drink for relief. Then I tried the mac and cheese…… it was good. I sat there while my family continued to eat until I could get a box. When the box arrived I fished each one of my wings out of the bowl of sauce and proceeded to scrape the sauce off of them as best I could and boxed them up. I didn’t even attempt to take my fries there was no way to salvage them. We then left on our hour and forty five minute drive home. About an hour into our drive my stomach started rolling. I’ve not had anything to eat for 12 hours prior to this and had no issues. Long story short my stomach is still rolling and I’m not seeing an end in sight.
I thought I would try the wings here since they have “wings” in their restaurant name. My wings looked like something that a 8 year old would throw together. If they can’t get something that’s in their name right I don’t know that I want to give this place another shot.

Ordered takeout, two kinds of wings and parmesan fries. All of it was horrible. Soggy fries and over seasoned. Soggy wings. The Buffalo hardly had any sauce on them and the THAI just had one big glob of sauce in the corner. Just a waste if money honestly. And it took 45 min for the order to be made. When I got there, no one was working the take out window. So I went to the hostess and told her I had a to go order (already laid). Instead if just going to grab my order or asking someone to step over to process me. Me told me to wait by the empty take out window. Which I did until someone finally came to help me. I stood there and watched the hostess also just stand there. She wasn’t helping customers or anything. I normally don’t give bad reviews but save your time and money.

My first time at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit! The food was incredible—the portions were huge and everything came out for our table of five much faster than I expected.
But what truly made our day was the service. Getting all my adult kids together for a meal is a rare and special occasion, so a great atmosphere is just as important as the food. Our server, Whitney, went above and beyond to make our time together perfect. She greeted us with a huge, genuine smile and her positive energy instantly filled our table with joy and laughter. Her recommendations were spot on and she set the tone for the rest of our evening! Many thanks!!
Whitney was the picture of perfect Southern hospitality. She was so attentive, making sure our drinks were always full and checking on us like we were family. Her warmth and cheery personality were the highlight of the visit. We’ll definitely be back. She was so amazing, I even bought a couple of their t-shirts as a souvenir!

This was our second time eating at Blue Moose, but first time at this location. We got two half price apps (M-F 2-6pm!): bacon cheeseburger sticks and queso with chips. Our main dishes were two taco salads with chicken, a kids cheeseburger with fries, and a kids double order of mac and cheese. The food was all delicious, we loved everything. The taco salad especially exceeded our expectations – it was huge and came with chips and salsa as well. We will definitely come back, love this place!

Kay Lee was amazing.
She was very helpful for all of us, our drinks, orders and everything else was in a timely manner.
We ordered the Moose nachos to split, wise decision, they were more than enough for us.
Our overall experience was amazing hats off to the Blue Moose restaurant and Kay Lee for your outstanding service and hospitality.

Stopped in for dinner while in town on business. It was busy but there is a lot of seating so I didn’t have to wait. The waiter, Julian, was great. He was very polite, attentive, had a good personality. I got my food in a reasonable time. I got the Grilled Cheese burger, which is a burger made with a grilled cheese on top and bottom, in place of a bun. The structure of the burger was good but I didn’t particularly care for the seasoning on the burger patty. To me, it tasted kind of like Montreal steak seasoning. The fries were crispy and fresh. I also got Peanut Butter Fudge pie for dessert, and it was delicious. The atmosphere is fun with TV’s everywhere. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would go back.

Was working in town and tried this location, Wings had good flavor except for they were a bit on the undercooked/ raw chicken taste side. Saw lots of pink and red. Me and my co worker ended up leaving over half of our meals, we mentioned it to the waiter and he said he would have a manager come over, manager came over and said they are pink because they bake them before hand for an hour. And fried them for 12 mins and temp check once they are ordered.
I was on my phone for about 5 mins chatting with my wife when the waiter took our order. And I ended the call once he brought the food out. The call log was for 15mins talk time. So not sure how that adds up with the waiter putting in our order and flavors and the cook reading and cooking the order
She didn’t offer to take half the bill off since we left over half the food on the plate or anything. What she did offer was a fresh batch of the amount of wings we had left over. I didn’t feel comfortable eating any more items from this place . So I just paid left a tip and prayed that we were able to work the next day.

The Blue Moose burgers and wings in Johnson City Tennessee is absolutely phenomenally excellent and fantastic! The best chicken wings I’ve ever eaten. Multiple multiple flavors to choose from, all the way up to atomic which is the hottest chicken wing! Let me tell you it’s good and hard I almost…. Almost needed a glass of milk that’s how hot they are! My wife had a bacon double cheeseburger and it made other restaurants burgers look like a kid’s meal! Massive 1 lb Burger and absolutely delicious! We were thrilled with the food and service here and we’ll definitely be back!
