Travellers, this restaurant is a gem in the heart of downtown Brattleboro. Everything we had was delicious and expertly prepared. The chef uses fine ingredients and it shines through in his Italian food. The cacio y pepe was excellent and used fine pecorino romano. The spaghetti and meatballs were delicious too. We recommend you try the pesto and the steak piziaolo, which were both delicious in a serious way. The sides, which are often neglected in some restaurants, shine bright at blue buffalo. And the Italian fries are delightful, a scene stealer. The mozzarella sticks were delicious and the calamari was tasty and crispy but still tender. The Caesar salad was also wonderful, good cheese and real anchovies! Dessert was also wonderful, the kids loved the fudgie brownie came with a marvelous vanilla ice cream. For me the the homemade carrot cake was the perfect way to end the meal. This was a wonderful Italian restaurant that had a great selection the ability to execute it all well. Check it out. We definitely recommend.

Some of the most beautiful food in the world is here!!!! If you want an ultradimensional trip into the next multiverse of tastebud experience, run don’t walk to the Blue Moose Bistro. The food is all homemade right there before your very plate and palate and you’ll feel like you’re right at home in Mamma’s kitchen. We have been there twice and it was all super delicious both times…and goshamighty, that puddin’! This place is truly a haven for those who love excellent dining. A small storefront restaurant with only a few tables. Utterly fantastic food, quite literally the best Italian food I have had in the United States Plus a nice selection of wine and canned/bottled craft beer. Superb service. The only warning I have is if it’s crowded it will be slower.

Service was ok, 1 waiter for all tables, he was overwhelmed but very polite, meatballs were excellent, the Chunk salad was drowning in dressing and not much chunk to the salad. Chicken parm was on, chicken was super small and the pasta side portion was just as small. For the prices, I expected better, cleanliness was ok but there was a super, and I mean super dirty white fan oscillating from on top of a table across the whole dining room… would not recommend and will not be going back

gross. never recommend in a million years. the chicken parm was undercooked, and no one even validated our feelings towards our food being raw. salad was one of the worst i’ve had and employees microwave all pasta we watched them take food out and serve it; disgusting. also, the chef was seen licking his finger and not using gloves whilst handling food. took 2 hours to get food. just an awful experience all around.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the chicken parm and the pappardelle, as well as the mozzarella sticks. Service was slower than what you typically get in restaurants with lower quality food, but just be patient, the food is worth it!

I took my girlfriend here for a dinner and my god this place and the food there was absolutely transcendent. The atmosphere was perfect, the staff was great, and it was just an overall wonderful experience. Then we got our food and just wow this is some of the best food I have ever had in my life. Everything was just bursting with flavor and freshness. This restaurant and it’s food have changed me like just wow I will definitely be coming back for more.
