We went on a Friday for lunch. We got there at 1:20 and they had already sold out of their brisket, turkey, pork and potatoes. I was so bummed. I had heard such great things about the brisket and turkey. So my recommendation is GET THERE EARLY. I ended up eating the cowboy cornbread, macaroni salad and banana pudding. It was a very good lunch. I can’t wait to come back another day to try the brisket and the turkey. We ate outside on the picnic tables since it was a beautiful day outside. There is a bit of indoor sitting, but not much. Thank you for a great new to me place for BBQ.

Have known about Blue Moon since 2009 but, hadn’t been since 2010. The wait was so worth it! Won’t be waiting anymore. Will be returning often! Also, love to recommend to as many people as I meet! I really don’t know where to begin but let me first say the food was outstanding. Even more than the food, the owners and staff go above and beyond what any customer should expect. I was planning a trip to College Station and heard about this place. I called because I wanted to confirm there operating hours and to make sure it would be open at the time i was passing through. They called me back asked what I wanted, when I arrived I gave my name and they already had more order. I pray many blessings upon this establishment and thank them for their kindness.

We went by yesterday to get some brisket for a reunion picnic that was today but they were already out for the day. Instead of sending me on my way, they offered to have it ready for me to pick up at 8am this morning (we’ll before the normal open hour). They did NOT disappoint!! Of all the dishes brought, the brisket was the only one all gone!!! Thank you for offering to meet me this morning, such great customer service to match your amazing brisket!!

This place is really good. If your journey takes you within a hour of this out-of-the-way place, go here. The brisket is as good as the best you’ve had. However, the sausage is really special. Garlic and jack cheese might sound odd but it really works and is fantastic. Stuffed potato was good as were all the sides we had. Nice folks too. I’ll return as soon as I can.

Went on a Thursday afternoon. Sliced brisket sandwich and coke slaw. It was okay, it was not great nor award winning. The brisket tasted more like pot roast. The slaw tasted store bought.

What a delicious stop for BBQ! I made the drive out of College Station on a recent trip and it was well worth the drive. This is one of those little hole in the wall places that is a gem! The brisket, pulled pork, and chicken were all delicious. I’ll definitely be back when in the area again.
