So I stopped by the Blue Moon Restaurant on Main Street, Hyannis, Cape Cod, MA just the other day. It was my first time going there. I sat at the bar area to eat, they have outside dining also apart from the tables inside. It was around 3pm and there were a few other diners, it was past the lunch rush. Anyway I was greeted by a gentleman at the door who held it open for me as I was using a walker. Once that I had sat down at the bar I was greeted by the bartender Maria whom was also the manager. Maria presented both their drink menu and food menu. She kindly offered me some help with food selections and suggestions, which I didn’t need because I’m a chef. I ordered a Modelo beer since it would compliment my food order. I ordered the quesadilla with chicken, shrimp and carne asada. It was quite a large quesadilla cut into three slices accompanied by some finely chopped lettuce and chives with a nice dollop of sour cream. It was simply delicious with the flavor combination and the right amount of cheese. I could only eat 2 slices and I took the other slice home which I enjoyed eating that night..it was great even when cold. Maria was super friendly and nice. The menu was nicely extensive with plenty of choices including tacos, burritos etc…oh I almost forgot to mention the nachos and salsa that Maria brought to me at the beginning…yum..The restrooms were very clean and smelled great too.
The prices were quite good also. So if you are looking to have a nice and tasty experience I recommend The Blue Moon Restaurant and make sure you ask for Maria.

I was thrilled with the authentic Mexican flavors in every bite. I had thee Nacho Supreme. Our greeter/waiter was very friendly and helpful in explaining dishes and making sure we were well satisfied with our dining experience…His name was Christain. We will definitely be coming back and telling others.

The portion was laughable. So small. Especially when you pay $24 for a main course. Also, the chicken’s texture was like rubber. Not edible.

We walked by and noticed it was Taco Tuesday & ordered chicken, carne asada & goat. All were excellent but the goat was a stand out (the marinade could have been a delicious mole) and soft corn tortillas amazing. This is authentic & fresh Mexican food. Will definitely stop by again!

Nuggets not so much. dry and processed!
The refried beans was surprisingly good!!
