My husband and I walked in and were able to get a seat at the bar. It is a small quaint bar with no more than about 12 seats. The bartender, Shay, was fabulous….helpful and crafting cocktails like no other. Our meals were fabulous. I had the special short rib fettuccine and my other half had grouper tacos which he said were delicious and could have eaten 4 more! We were asked nicely by maybe the owner if we could move down a seat at the bar and because we did (of course) he comped us orange crème brûlée for dessert which was to die for. I highly recommend this fantastic establishment! We’ll be back!

Just passing by on our day trip to AMI and from the reviews, we figured this was a must.
What we enjoyed the most was the welcoming service, decor, and overall ambiance. Regarding the food, I have to say the broccoli was the best.
It’s incredible how a common vegetable could pack so much flavor. It was just incredible. Second to that was the mash potato. The grouper wasn’t as memorable after the amount of flavor that broccoli had.
If you’re interested, make sure to have a reservation and come visit.

I don’t know how this place doesn’t have 10+ stars cause omg, everything was delicious! The clam chowder was phenomenal, like the best I’ve ever had. The grouper ceviche was soooooo flavorful. I had the short rib ragu which was nothing short of exceptional and my husband had the shrimp fettuccine which he said was better than mine!! (He’s very picky) and I can’t forget the bartenders Shay and the gentleman, which I forgot his name were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I honestly could eat here every day and not get sick of it. It’s THAT good. Thank you!!!

Had a wonderful meal here! Love the atmosphere! Very cozy! Delicious food and wine! It really stood out that the owner of the business is very involved. From seating customers, to refilling water, he cares about his business! I can’t wait to go back!

Great food and wine with attentive service. Sat at the indoor bar. Shout out to the team there. Went outside to the courtyard for live music from a talented musician. Beautiful evening beneath the trees. I hate to complain about a single thing, but it was a little bright indoors lighting-wise. But after a bit, I didn’t even notice. Charming nautical-cottage decor.

It’s very rare that I leave a negative review, but our recent visit was extremely disappointing. We dined here on New Year’s Eve with our family of four, and unfortunately nothing about the experience met expectations. We were seated in a very tight space near the front door, where my husband was repeatedly bumped by people trying to squeeze past our table. The table itself was clearly too small for four people, leaving us with barely any room and constantly having to rearrange items just to function comfortably.
The bartenders seemed unfamiliar with how to properly fill a martini glass, as every martini arrived nearly half full.
Three of us ordered the filet mignon, and when I asked for mine to be butterflied, the server returned to tell me the kitchen didn’t know how to do that. The food arrived cold, the asparagus was undercooked, and the steaks lacked any real flavor. The only item that was somewhat enjoyable was the potato soup, though even that was only lukewarm at best.
Our family is no stranger to fine dining, and we don’t mind paying for quality, but this meal was absolutely not worth $100+ per person.

Our server was Brie. She and her supporting staff were great. The place wasn’t too busy so it was appropriate. I tried the Cioppino and it was very tasty and cooked perfectly. My wife had the grouper with eggplant. She loved it. The atmosphere is outstanding, inside and out. It is on the pricey side but not outrageous. I would recommend it.

We came out to grab a bite on a weekday evening. The website recommended putting a reservation down, but it wasn’t too busy and we were sat right away. The hostess was welcoming and friendly and took us to an outdoor table. The seating area itself was well decorated and overall had a really nice atmosphere.
After we were sat our waiter met us right away, but I think he may have forgotten us as it was longer than expected for him to come back to take our drink/meal orders. We ended up ordering the House Salad, Potato Soup, the Scallops, and the Grouper Dijonnaise. Everything was pretty good, but the Grouper and its sides were a bit lacking in flavor and the fish was a tad tougher than you’d expect at the price point. Overall we had a decent time, but based on this initial visit it wouldn’t be a *first* recommendation with all the options around.

My new favorite place on the island! We make frequent trips to AMI every year and one of our favorite thing to do it try out restaurants. We frequent our favorites but decided to try this as we were already on bridge street and all I can say is WOW! The food was phenomenal, I got the Thai grouper and I have to say it is the meal I have had on the island. My husband got the lobster grilled cheese and it’s FULL of lobster, something you don’t normally see! The drinks were great and the service was amazing as well! This will be a new regular for us!

We are in town visiting family and came here. I was a bit disappointed in the food.
We had
Ajillo fillet (very good)
Thai nugs (skip these)
Pecan grouper
Thai grouper (this was a specual)
Cuippino
Chips and ranch (very good)
Corn muffins. (Very good)
The Ajillo was tender and cooked well. The Thai seasoning was really good
Skip the nugs as they were over cooked and chewy. Not great.
Thai grouper as the special was really good. Probably the best dish we had.
The cuipinno was fine but the class were over cooked. Too bad.
The pecan grouper was good. The asparagus was overcooked so it wasn’t great. The grouper was awesome tho.
The service was great and friendly.
