This was our first time visiting this restaurant, and on Cinco de Mayo nonetheless. The parking lot is gravel and the entrance is on the right side of the building. The building is quite large and I noticed they had at least 2 sets of restrooms as we were walking to our table (on the patio). We were seated right away and our order was taken quickly. The menu has alot of options to choose from, I decided on the bbq pork tacos, there was alot of flavor in them. There was a man playing music out on the patio when we arrived, it was a little loud but he was just finishing also, it was very nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather, it was beautiful. I liked the large cups that they serve the water in and the atmosphere, there was a lot of space, seating & smiling faces!

Use to love this place, was a regular, no more. Treated very poorly by staff that I thought knew me and appreciated my business. They were busy, but ignored our table and we waited for an hour to find out they ‘deleted’ our order while others who came in after us had their food. Their apology was fake and just said they would get our order in as soon as possible. Offered nothing else.

Tried dine-in for the first time here since they opened. Great atmosphere, great service. Complimentary chips and salsa were amazing! Portion sizes are plentiful and their blue margarita is yummy! Welcome to GHills!

The good: The grilled chicken is absolutely amazing. Even better than what I could make at home. Perfectly seasoned and tender. Gordon himself would approve. The salsa was the best around. The guac was maybe a little salty but was still good. The queso was fine, maybe a bit bland, but good and safe for picky adults and kids. The host and service staff were all great, and not once was my drink empty. Everything was plated well and had properly sized American portions. You won’t leave hungry.
Now for the “bad”. It’s extremely expensive and probably on the verge of overpriced. I don’t mind spending money but yikes! The night time lighting should be warmer, probably 2700-3000k lighting, not 4000-6000. True white is nice for lunch time but terrible and incredibly harsh for dinner. The parking lot is garbage and full of potholes but they inherited that mess from Khouris. If you do ever pave it, please have wide spaces with a buffer zone between spaces. Your clientele at the Germantown location will thank you.
Will definitely add Blue Margarita to our restaurant rotation but probably only once every four to six weeks.

Ate at Germantown Hills restaurant. Ordered southwest chimichanga. Said it came with southwest sauce which amounted to a dill dip sauce. The chimichanga itself was fair. It was cut in pieces, not much flavor and lacking in meat. The rice was plain rice and had carrots and potato chunks in it. (Definitely not the mexican way, coming from a Tucson resident where Mexican food is king). Had a touch of reddish color to it to pass to look like Spanish rice but was far from it. Zero spice. On the side, lettuce pieces and a couple of diced tomatoes, definitely not pico.
I was very disappointed and the cost was way too high for bland, pre made, heated up food. (I was told the chimichangas were pre made.) Will not return. Not worth it.

Staff not overly friendly, but taking in constant of today’s climate, I can understand the emotional distance. Everything else was great!

Food was disgusting. Had chicken enchiladas and rice and rice had carrots in it and was gross. The waiter was irritated anytime we asked a question and rolled his eyes. Will never be back.
