Drivers Beware:
It’s not cool to serve ppl old cheesecake.
Im not sure what that is inside this cheesecake but it is not blueberries
I’m assuming the staff members didn’t know.

Blue Line Cafe is an amazing junction, consisting of a Cafe, gas station, gift shop, etc. It offers an amazing traditional style cafe, with traditional style food. There are an amazingly big amount of options int terms of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Lastly, the service was absolutely phenomenal, this one of the best places in minnesota if you’re looking for somewhere new or familiar.

I had the southwest omelet. Probably one of the healthier options. Also got the hotdish. It was basically mac and cheese with peas and carrots and diced chicken.
I should have passed on that, but since I’d already ruined my diet for the day. Figured I’d get a slice of pie.
Was pretty good. Probably came in frozen. Looks like one of the edwards pies from the freezer in the grocery store.
It was still tasty.

I have ordered from here in the past with good food and customer service. We were traveling and ordered carry out. The lady who spoke with us was short, but we really wanted some good food for the road to take to our hotel. I am allergic to seafood and asked if I could switch a cup of soup for fries – don’t mind a bump if they do for a couple dollars. Got our food which was also Swedish meatballs. The Swedish meatballs were old and dry. Turkey melt maybe had 1.5 oz of them sliced lunch meat product and dry too. Got chili. Bill was $26 and change so, no fries, but full price for I think a bowl of chili I didn’t get (got a cup). No crackers thank you!

For what it’s worth, a good little diner at the junction of I90 and 60. It’s a Coke account that’s a plus. Had the grilled cheese and Bacon Cheeseburger. A great diner burger. Goood selection of crinkle fries, waffle fries, tater tots, baked potato. I love the fact they still have a diner counter.

I’m so disappointed. This used to be our favorite cafe and pie stop when traveling. Something has drastically changed. All new staff so maybe under new management? Pie is no longer fresh and the place is dirty and stinks of manure.
We had the most horrible pie we’ve ever eaten. My husband had strawberry rhubarb. I had Dutch apple. They were filled with nothing but goop filling and literally NO fruit. It was so sticky, you had to drink water after a bite. Needless to say we didn’t finish. The lady sitting next to us said not to order the raspberry cake that was the special dessert of the day. She said she wanted a steak knife to cut it.
We had to finally ask for our bill. The hostess was rude as well.
Hopefully something will change to bring the restaurant back again. I see all the reviews from the last 4-5 months are terrible. I wished I would have checked first before stopping. We would have waited for Sioux Falls.

Used to be a wonderful diner. Now takes FOREVER to get breakfast. Took 40mns to get cold (should have been hot) meal. Tried again another time. Took another 40mns. Hot this time. Tried a 3rd time…never got our breakfast, so got up and left. Went to Kwik Trip. Fast, hot and way cheaper.

Went in with high hopes. It smells phenomenal outside. So the husband and I decided we would start with the cheese balls, which were delicious (forgot to get a pic of those). Then we decided to have the bbq beef tips with coleslaw and waffle fries. Gotta be honest, the beef tips weren’t that great. There was quite a bit of cartilage and they absolutely drowned the meat in bbq sauce. The coleslaw was creamy and tasted ok. The waffle fries were about standard. My husband chose the chocolate pie and I had the caramel roll for dessert. The pie was thick but very tasty. The caramel roll was on par with others. I’m not saying I won’t give this place another shot sometime, I’m just saying I wasn’t impressed this time. The service was quick and she was friendly.

Ordered Macaroni and Cheese as a side and they served me a bowl of Kraft Mac & Cheese from a box. Absolutely disgusting. Side salad is child size. Terrible experience, I’ll never stop there again.
