Blue Lantern Lounge used to be top notch. One of my favorite bars to DJ at. Not sure what the heck happened, their whole vibe is off now. I still love the bartenders, but Audra and her new karaoke crew have definitely lost that edge. They used to be so open and inviting to everyone. Now they pick favorites and completely ignore people with special needs. I always was so proud to work for Audra Premo, but now I just really feel they pick and choose favorites.

One of the best bars I’ve been to in a while. Has a really friendly, relaxed vibe and despite not knowing anyone, I felt right at home. Excellent staff and drinks. Their karaoke nights are a blast. Will definitely be returning next time I am in the area.

Walked past the people picking fights in the parking lot, and went in to try this place. They were very busy! Good for them I guess, only problem is that there wasn’t anywhere to stand, let along sit down to buy a drink. Every spot was either taken, or had someone’s coat in it (probably the crowd in the parking lot). Maybe I’ll try again when they’re less busy. If you’re into standing and drinking, this might be the place for you. I wouldn’t know, I walked right out. There was only a couple bartenders for that whole place so there’s no way a newcomer was going to get a drink with it being so packed.

Best bloody Mary’s in rapid city hands down. Ask for bacon with them (if they have). Audra is a great bartender and always makes my boyfriend and I feel very welcomed. Reminds me of a small town bar.
