Great food, great service. The French toast is really really good, going to get it again in the future. I also got the chili & cheese hash browns and added grilled onions… So good! It needed salt but I added it at the table and it was delish.

Nothing fancy here, just extraordinary food in an inviting and comfortable atmosphere with amazing service. The portion sizes are unbelievably large. I am a big eater, but I didn’t conquer half of the food I ordered. It was so filling and so delicious—and soooo much. Be ready to ask for a box. You’ll need it! Few diners I have visited compare in getting your money’s worth. The serving staff was incredibly friendly, too—it felt as though I was a regular on first visit. I am genuinely impressed. I have found yet another restaurant I will frequent often on my return visits to Cincinnati!

The staff makes you feel right at home with their warm, attentive service. It’s rare to find a spot these days where the servings are this substantial for such a fair price. If you love a nostalgic diner aesthetic and great comfort food, this is the place to be.

Very cool and nostalgic diner. The food is basic diner options, except made with more love. All of the servers are awesome and make you feel like a part of the family.

The staff is the sweetest and the customers are nice and too themselves. Food is always fresh , hot and delicious! This remind me of breakfast at grandmas on the weekends. No gimmicks and high prices for quirky names and a sauce. All you need is salt , pepper and jelly/jam biscuits so fluffy don’t need no butter . I tore this food down and am full for $10 . Parking may be limited but when you see how full they are and homey the environment is you understand. They’ll be seeing more of me come next semester for sure !

Quintessential American diner experience! This is a restaurant frozen in time. I mean that in a good way. Puffy soft booths. Laminated table tops. Coffee smell in the air. Friendly gals taking your order. Regulars greeted loudly. Sounds of the grill sizzling and silverware clanking on plastic plates. Blue collar prices. Hearty comfort food. After experiencing the bliss of nostalgia bring your ticket to the counter and pay. Tip your waitress generously. Leave with a smile. Just be sure not to park at KFC they will tow you.

My husband has been coming to this establishment ever since he was a kid. This was my first time visiting and I was very impressed. The pancakes were very delicious and the prices were incredible. Also the waitress was very pleasant! We will be back!

Took my two younger sisters here for brunch, and we all loved it! The wait staff were super attentive and the absolute friendliest, even though they were quite busy. I loved the history decorating the place as well. The food was amazing. I got the Blue Jay breakfast, and the eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was that perfect marriage of crispy and chewy, and the home fries were delicuous as well. The omelet was also very flavorful. All portions were great for the price, and the coffee was good, too! Will definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu!

Very good breakfast. The service was spot on (to honest it wasn’t busy when we went) but never had to ask for a refill of water or coffee. We will be back for sure.

I just have to say thank you to all the hard-working staff. It’s your efforts that make this place what it is.
It’s easy to see why this is local favorite and for many the go-to restaurant. The prices were low and I was really surprised by that..
Some of the regular diners were also helpful at making sure I ordered the proper breakfast, they wanted to make sure I had a good proper Cincinnati style breakfast .
One of the things that I ordered was kinda like a hot dog with a TON of shredded cheese . I think it was called a Connie? The locals will know . Delicious. My wife had a traditional breakfast bacon and eggs . It was also nice to see how the staff treated the local residents of Cincinnati with a lot of patience and kindness and love. The obviously know what they’re doing they’ve been serving the people since 1965 I think ?
This restaurant was recommended to me by a staff member that works at the famous sign museum just up the street… Another must see place.
The only thing that I didn’t quite like was the coffee. I’m not sure if I got a bad batch or what but it wasn’t quite to my taste. Perhaps I can bring them down some Tim Hortons tins of coffee next time thanks again for the great food . It’s a place I highly recommend
It is also location for a few movies that were filmed there ( for all those movie buffs out there)
