My family had been here before and really enjoyed it, we went on a Monday night and it was very disappointing. Our server never smiled or refilled drinks, but did fine other than that. We waited a long time for our order and my food was not hot when it came out. The chicken was very chewy, I would recommend getting a different protein. They ended up taking my meal off the bill. Not a great experience, but might try it again on a weekend. The view was great!!

It’s a good place the food was great with a good staff. My only complaint is all the steps to go outside and set . My dad is 89 it was very hard for him going up and down . But he enjoyed it all the same we will go back again.

Great little place by the water. We were able to be seated right away even though they were pretty busy. Our server Anna was really great. Definitely has a good head on her shoulders and try’s hard to please her tables. Unfortunately as we talked with her we could see unfortunately she definitely wasn’t trained very well. If at all. Same on the management. As for the food it was pretty good just missing some things. Lol. I had the pineapple fajitas. Looks great in the photo and on the plate only problem was there wasn’t any pineapple in the meal itself. . My wife ordered the fajita Texan and it didn’t come out with anything like salad or rice let alone the shells which normally comes with it. Now this is where if you trained Anna properly instead of just toss her to the wolfs she would know everything she needs to bring out with the meal. As for the margaritas we ordered they were great!! I’m sure we will come back and ask for Anna because she tried really hard and has a great personality and made it enjoyable.

Wonderful atmosphere, not too noisy and just the right amount of fun! The manager and service were amazing! Can’t wait to return as it gets a bit warmer out. The view is a delight and you can rent pontoon boats right below!

Entered the door and was met by no one. Waited at the hostess stand and finally a waitress came out and looked at me and said “yeah?” So I asked if we seat ourselves since there wasn’t a sign. Find a table and was met with attitude by another server since we sat ourselves. Ordered the street tacos and ate two bites out of one and couldn’t eat the rest. Horrible taste. Like the meat sat in a crockpot for hours or even days. The meat was so soaked in grease that the tortillas came apart. You can see the puddle of grease in the tortillas in the photo. It was a waste of $14. They don’t have enough employees and the ones they do have are rude. Drive a little further and eat at el Fogon or Mi Casa. You aren’t on the water but much better food and service!

I stopped in for a quick drink and appetizer, and it did NOT disappoint.
I came around 12, and it was relatively slow. I had a sangria with the Momias Appetizer, then followed up with a Don Julio Blanco and Oj (which I poured into the remainder of my sangria, and it was SO good).
The servers Brooke and Jordynn were very friendly, and the drinks were very good. They went the extra mile with the garnishment on the drinks. They looked beautiful, and tasted great.
The food came out quickly and was not only very visually appealing, it was crisped to perfection.
There was also more shrimp than I was expecting, and were even de-veined, and de-tailed, which I really liked.
I get this dish often, and this has so far been my favorite variation of it.
The patio is also very nice to just sit and watch the boats, jet skis, and people on the lake.
Would definitely enjoy lunch here again.

I was sick after eating lunch here. I was curious about what kind of reviews the place has since I am down with stomach issues from eating here. My experience was consistent with others who claim that they were sick after food and margaritas. I had a Lunch fajita and a margarita on a Saturday afternoon. I’m writing this on a Sunday afternoon and I’m still sick. I don’t like writing anything negative about a small business, but something is definitely not right at this place when it comes to cleanliness or food safety.

My first impression was that the place was empty and there was no signage or person to greet us as we arrived. We ended up following a family that looked like they knew where they were going. Everything was covered in a layer of grime giving it a dirty and sticky feel.
The server got my partner’s drink order wrong; they served a premium draft beer when he ordered a Mic Ultra and charged us $7 for it. We complained, but they didn’t do anything for us.
My steak tacos were very plain and lackluster, and the rice was awful. My partner’s chimichanga was great, but the refried beans were awful.
The atmosphere is very nice, but we will never be back.

Woww!! The Blue Iguana will leave you wanting more absolutely perfect! The food leaves you yearning for more , the service was beyond perfect, and the scenery on the water was just the perfect topping on a perfect place ! This is a must experience, and then just make it one of your favorite go-to places ! Best white queso I have ever had !
