I had an exceptional experience at Blue Iguana. I ordered a pretty basic lunch item, so I wasn’t expecting anything special, but it ended up being leaps and bounds above what most places serve. The flavors, freshness, and overall quality were on another level. A lot of restaurants get credit for having good food, but the folks here truly outclass them. Highly recommend stopping in; they’ve earned every bit of praise. In addition to a great meal I received complimentary bread and VIP service.

4 of us had dinner and not just the food was fantastic, the wait staff was so friendly, the chef came out and we actually gave him a tip as well! We understand they are new owners so if you have been there in the past and it wasn’t good – give these people a chance – we had the lobster and some had their ribs – and all the food was very tasty, good amount and presented very well…they gave us great bread – and we all felt that this whole experience was a good one! It’s more like a club atmosphere so we were reluctant at first but once seated felt as if we have known them all for a long time! A++

We went this past Saturday. The music and overall vibe were great, but unfortunately the service was extremely disappointing.
It’s not a big place which is fine but there were only two bartenders working, and it took us about 30 minutes just to order one drink. At one point I asked the other bartender (the skinny Asian guy working right in front of us) if he could help make our drinks since the other bartender was busy, and he told me, “No, I’m in the weeds.” That response was surprising — we were standing right there ready to spend money. He was rude.
After finally getting our drinks, it took another 20 minutes just to pay. Honestly, I could have walked away at that point, but I stayed to do the right thing and tip.
The worst part was when my girlfriend finished her drink and found a fake nail sitting at the bottom of the glass!!! It definitely wasn’t hers, we tried to see if any of the Girls working were missing fingernails, but we couldn’t tell. That’s extremely unsanitary and concerning. I regret not taking a picture because that’s a serious health issue.
On top of that, the bathrooms were in bad condition — clogged toilets and doors that don’t lock, which added to the negative experience.
If you plan to come here, I’d recommend pregaming beforehand and expecting long waits for drinks. The music and atmosphere are good, maybe it was just the DJ, he was on point so I’m hoping future nights the music is just as good but the service really brought the whole experience down. By 10000!
Charging a cover for this level of service is hard to justify. $10 pp.
I haven’t tried the food yet, and I am willing to give this place another chance, and I’ll update my review then but they seriously need more professional staff and better organization.

I only went here for the food on a random Thursday afternoon but let me tell you .. the food was absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I’ve been living on the treasure coast for 11yrs and this is in the top 5 best meals I’ve had since living here!! I was very surprised! The aesthetics and atmosphere were very attractive as well.
Definitely recommend the yellow snapper!

We checked them out for Taco Tuesday! I must say we were pleasantly surprised. The taco were delicious and humongous! The chicken taco was definitely my favorite, with the steak taco coming in with a close second. The bartender Rasheed knows how to make a killer margarita! Lets support this place. The DJ was playing great music.

Food was pretty good, the pork my dad got was kinda bland but my burrito was very good and the guacamole was amazing and super fresh. The mango margarita was tasty but it could have been stronger the atmosphere was not what we expected, there was a karaoke night happening but the server told us there are plenty of Latin dancing nights and DJ nights. I’d return for some dancing for sure. Server was very sweet. It was a nice time.

Went there on a Saturday night for latina night and had a great experience and the service was all some and the new bartender is great and friendly and bottle girl always make you laugh the manger also make you laugh the food was all some also …I will recommend people to come out and have a nice time

We originally were going to the St Lucie Sports bar for dinner, as usual it was extremely packed with a long wait to be seated. It was around 6PM and we were starving so we decided to give Blue Iguana a try.
The atmosphere is more for a night club vice a restaurant. That said the staff was awesome and the food was excellent. They have a 5 star chief who really knows how to prepare Island cuisine.
