Blue i Bistro represents a fresh chapter in our culinary journey. After the unexpected closure of our original Blue i Eatery on Honda Drive due to an electrical fire in March 2025, owners Tracy and Loren Peters have transformed the old downtown Lincoln mercantile into something special. Through extensive renovations and the unwavering support of our incredible community, we’re excited to welcome both familiar faces and new friends when we open our doors this October. Fresh food. Got philly cheese steak it was really good
Sweet potatoes fries would have been better if cooked a little longer. Need to sprinkle cinnamon sugar on them. Sauce is a little too sweet.
Also got the grill cheese bacon blueberry jam sandwich. It was wonderful.

Really cute place with good atmosphere. Owner and chef were both friendly and made it a point to say hi. You have to try the Key Lime balls. First time having a po boy. Would come back.

I went in on a Sunday and they were serving brunch. The fritatta, palmiers and hash browns were especially good. The biscuits weren’t great, but the handmade flavored butters that I put on it were pretty great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating even though we showed up towards the end of brunch

The place was very good!! We were impressed with the chef who stopped by our table to talk about the special ingredients they use and the menu. We got the shrimp and grits and fried shrimp dinner with bacon wrapped asparagus and the blue I salad. It was all fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

We’ve tried it twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. The ventilation system must be broken because it’s always so smoky in there. Food is average. Service is average or slightly below. Prices are above average. We don’t plan on going back.

Took forever to get our food and when we did it was cold dinning room had alot of flys and way over priced for the quality of our food we will never be eating here again and the owner was really rude after I stated on a Facebook post about my experience several other people walked out while we waited
