Best breakfast ever! My husband and I went here multiple times during our quick trip to Carlsbad. I got to try the burrito, egg and bagel sandwich, and pastries. Everything we ate was delicious. The staff was very friendly as well.

Eggs are amazing! Great value, fresh, tasty drinks, food and sweets. Soothing atmosphere. The rosemary shortbread is incredible. Highlight of our trip to Carlsbad (I mean the Caverns were great too)! Large outdoor patio too.

Note: Their sign says they close their kitchen at 11am and close the cafe at 12pm. I don’t know how fast they hold that rule, people were still ordering when I left at 1110.
Good spot for breakfast, coffee, pies and pastries. It’s reasonably priced, there is room inside and outside for seating, the coffee is fairly good. The food is good but they can run out of things later in the morning, and while there are good options on the menu, they are limited in additional modifications. Still it was a cozy place and quite busy.

Found this little cafe whilst passing through Carlsbad, couldn’t be happier that we stopped in!!
This little cafe was bustling with what seemed to be regulars and locals. The baristas and employees were very welcoming and friendly! We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, a hot tea, and a lavender london fog. I couldn’t put my sandwich down once I started it was SO good!! The croissant was flaky and fresh and the hatch chile that comes on the sandwiches is DELICIOUS!! They offer asparagus on all their breakfast sandwiches which intrigued me. Next time I’m passing through I’ll have to give it a try!

Nice small Cafe. They’ve expanded to an outside area but it was too cold today but will be great when the weather is nicer. Super friendly staff, seems like a place the locals go to. Great place to read and chill

Hands down the best breakfast spot in Carlsbad. Family owned and operated. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are all friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for a place with a hometown feel where regulars gather daily and welcome you to come sit at their table with them or you want to sit outside and enjoy the sun in the patio area and visit with Biscuit the resident cat this is the place for you. I’ve been coming here several years now and never once had a bad experience.

Payed 10 dollars asked for a coffee and bagel with cream cheese and butter and got a warm bagel with frozen cream cheese and butter by the time the butter and cream cheese were able to spread by bagel is cold and the coffee didn’t even come out hot ridiculous
