11/5/2025. Great little diner. Not our first time, not going to be our last. Today Lorri got chicken bacon ranch wrap with chili. I got the beer battered cod with cottage fries. Samantha sat us, Jennifer waited on us. Both are friendly. Food was great. You can usually tell by the smell of fresh grease in the air. If your deep fried food is going to be great. Or suck, am I right? Cod was the best you can get. And those cottage fries? Think of really thick potatoes, where fries meets Lays potato chips and viola! Cottage fries. Super recommended this place.

We went for lunch and the sandwiches are amazing! It’s the most homemade food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Even the bread was toasted perfectly. Don’t forget to get the pie on the way out. The Pecan was perfect

Was on my way to Prescott Valley at breakfast time and came across this place and decided to stop. It’s a family owned restaurant in Dewey, AZ. I ordered the breakfast burrito that had chicken fried steak, hash browns, scrambled eggs & cheddar cheese that was smothered in gravy. It’s a big a** burrito for less than $12! It was very tasty with shredded hash browns and not potato chunks like other places. I left satisfied and full! Can’t wait to come back and try lunch! A neat Mel’s Diner kind of place. Swing by and give it a try!

First time at this cute little diner type restaurant. The food was very good and inexpensive! I had the burger and onion rings. The homemade pies were also very good! We even took a slice home. Service was great as well. We will be back!

Come for the food and stay for the service. I was on a road trip from Chino Valley back to Phoenix and I used Google Maps to find a restaurant along my route. The restaurant itself is unassuming with seating from booths to a diner style bar seating and open tables. As you walk in you’ll find a sign that says to Please Seat Yourself. The staff says greets you quickly and offers you a drink from a variety of Pepsi products. I was pleasantly surprised they also carry Cream Soda which is not something I find very frequently in my travels. I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken which came with a house salad, mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was good, well seasoned and not greasy. The other food was good but nothing impressive. What stood out to me from this experience was the service. There was a sense that this is more than a restaurant, it felt like this place was special because it serves as a pillar to this community. It’s got all the charms of a small town Arizona diner. The prices were reasonable and the portions were good. Check it out!
