We passed this place for the better part of a year and just didn’t make it in time for their hours. I decided to make a trip specially to try them out. We were not disappointed! The owner and our waitress were genuinely nice people. Not the kind of nice that you know isn’t genuine, the kind that makes you feel like a regular even though it’s your first visit! It’s a small place that left a big mark for me! I will definitely be back to try lunch, as this visit was specifically to try breakfast. We had everything from pancakes, to a panwich (pancake breakfast sandwich) to a Dixie bowl! (Fried potatoes, sausage gravy topped with a beautiful little egg and cheese omelette). The coffee was also excellent and the half and half was cold and fresh in my own little pitcher. Loved everything! Thanks so much for having us.

The Blue Highway Diner is a must-visit and the only diner I think of for breakfast! The retro atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for any meal. Their eggs Benedict is phenomenal—perfectly poached eggs, creamy hollandaise, and crispy home fries. The coffee is bold and delicious, complementing every bite. The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. Best of all, the food is consistently fantastic every visit. Five stars for this diner gem!

One of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had in a while. Crab cake Benedict was amazing and the chef walked me through a tasting menu of their hot sauces to pair with the meal. Great local vibe and super friendly. Worth a weekly visit.

Your average greasy spoon. $20 for 2 Reuben Sandwiches. Had about 2 pieces of pastrami on the sandwich. The sandwiches tasted good. Would have been 4 stars, but they charged me 4% for using my credit card without telling me or having any signage stating there is a 4% added charge. Good thing I got the receipt to catch it. To the owner…..just put a sign up near the register for the 4% up charge.

The food was good. The problem was that no one was wearing masks so it didn’t feel very safe. Our server was very nice though. We got a Ruben and two hot dogs, both of them were pretty good.

Our first time visiting, what a fantastic spot! The food was delicious and Kate was super nice. I would highly recommended the biscuits and gravy! Every single thing was delicious We cleaned our plates. The environment was friendly and welcoming.
