Second time here under different management/menus. Many good reviews so tried it again. The bartender was great! Appetizers came out fast, average bar type fried apps. Then the wait for our dinners…when asked what was taking so long…we are waiting for the Italian sandwich….?????
Friends haddock came out cold and the Italian sandwich had more lettuce than anything else. You can get more meat in a sandwich from Subway for less cost ♀️. Overall average, it was busy, very disappointing.

Cute little pub… never knew it was here if it wasn’t for Google Maps!! Wings were ok, but our favorites were the pizza and the clam chowder. The crust is perfectly crispy and not there’s not too much dough… also as a bonus, they have freshly popped popcorn Will definitely be back!!!

The honey bbq wings were fantastic. I love the way they make the pizza with the crust. The prime rib sandwich needs horseradish sauce and au jus but I’ll add both in the future. The rest of the sandwich was fantasic. The mashed potatoes were homemade and creamy.

Atmosphere was casual and relaxed but I rated it just a 4 because of prominence of the alcohol and I don’t drink. It was recommended to me as a restaurant so I didn’t realize until I got there that it was also a pizza & pub place.
The food was indeed superb!

We brought the family for a late lunch and were so pleased with the welcoming staff and patrons, the excellent service, the diverse menu and fantastic food.
We enjoyed the pretzel with their special mustard sauce yum!! The mustard sauce had a nice horseradish kick and was delicious.
For our mains we had the John’s special pizza which we were informed was Massachusetts style. It came out pipping hot with a fantastic crispy crust and such favorable fresh toppings.
The chicken Ceasars wrap was brushing with chicken and romaine.
The chicken wings, chicken tendersand fries we’re also done right and devoured by the table.
Hubby enjoyed a couple Blue brews. We also found the Blue Heron cream soda so good.
Great place to enjoy a meal, watch a game or hang out at the bar. They made everyone feel welcomed.

For a business with pizza in the name, it was top 3 most disappointing pizza I’ve ever eaten. Posting this more for the owners than other customers.
Ordered two pizzas, arrived hot to our table, toppings were generous, very little sauce, crusts were tasteless and tough.
Service was friendly and attentive. Establishment was attractive and clean.

My husband and I really enjoy stopping out to the Blue Heron for lunch and drinks. The pizzas are delicious and the crust is thin and crispy. We are from Buffalo area and really love the Buffalo Wings. The egg rolls were also a nice change. The staff is always so friendly and attentive. I enjoy the rotating taps and the sangria on tap. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

My husband and I went there last Monday, around 6pm, and we sat at the bar, as we recognized the bartender (Cameron), who we knew from previous visits…he is wonderful! This was our third visit and everything was outstanding: service, food, atmosphere, and ice cold beer! I ordered a haddock Reuben, which was probably the best fish Reuben I’ve ever had. My husband ordered the super beef sandwich, which had at least a half pound of medium roast beef on it, and it was definitely something we’ll be craving until we can get back! On both of our first trips, I had ordered the clam chowder, at Cameron’s suggestion, and it was soooo good that I ordered some to go this time!
If you just want to relax and have a good experience out, I highly recommend coming here!! Small, friendly place with better than average pub food! We’ll definitely be going back! Thanks Blue Heron!

This has become one of our favorite places to eat. We are from New England, so it feels like home. The staff are always friendly and attentive. They make you feel like family. The food is always fantastic! One of my favorites is the Teriyaki. I rave about it to everyone. The last time we were there, 3 of the 4 of us ordered the teriyaki because of how much I had talked about it. It was a little too salty this time, but still very good.
The week before, I had the American Chop Suey. That really brought back memories from my childhood! It was delicious!

We just enjoyed our first visit to Blue Heron Pizza Pub in Port Charlotte tonight, and LOVED IT!! The menu was a great variety of creative options (we had the Steak Bomb Egg Rolls & Italian Egg Rolls for appetizers) at very reasonable prices. The food was so delicious – I had the Greek Pizza which was perfect, and my husband is a “Pizza Snob” from Long Island , and he thought his Eggplant, Meatball, & Garlic Pizza (called The Slow Down) was the “BEST he’s had in Charlotte County!” Excellent crispy thin crust. Best of all was the super-friendly and attentive service by our waiter Nate and Cam at the bar. These guys made everyone feel like friends and made sure we were well taken care of! We will definitely be back.
