All I can say is…wow. This is the first place in DFW where the birria tacos were done right. Unbelievably good! Drinks, especially the Peach Margarita were on point. Don’t even get me started on the Diablo Margarita! Try this place out…I dare you!

We had a wonderful time last night at Blue Goose Cantina in NRH. This was my first time visiting any and it certainly won’t be the last! They were well staffed and ready for the customers. The parking lot was full and we were 29th in line but we didn’t wait more than 25 minutes to get seated. Chauncey was our server and you could tell she really loved being there and was happy to have customer regardless of how busy it was. She took great care of us and never left a drink or bowl of chips get empty!!
The food was wonderful. I had the Quesbirria tacos and boy were they amazing! I will definitely be getting again. We also got the guacamole, but next time I will skip as the portion is extremely small for the price and it is in taco bowl with a lettuce liner that took up so much space there was barely any guac. It was still tasty!
Blue Goose really spruced up the building and went all out on the new interior. Very happy to have this in town and can’t wait to take my friends and family when the visit!

Place was good. Food was good as expected nothing special. Our server Alex was excellent. We tried the goose eggs surprisingly good. Salsa was a bit too tomatoie for my taste. I like a little spice. For a quick bite it was ok.

We were excited when we saw that Blue Goose Cantina opened up within a few miles of our home. We braved the second night. It was open, which happened to be the night before a big ice and snowstorm. So as you can imagine the wait times were very long. Thankfully, they use call ahead seating which was almost an hour, but gave us time to show up within a few minutes of our table, being ready. On this night, I think it was busier normal so it was very loud and hard to hear, plus people were standing waiting for tables right next to people sitting, which dampened the experience.
Our server was Elayna and we cannot say enough good things about this young lady. In fact, we will come back and request her every time we come back. She was nice, sweet and a great server!
We started with the top shelf queso, which was amazing. Then moved onto two margaritas which we absolutely loved as well. The one thing that could be improved with that experience was our dinner came out within 5 minutes of getting our queso which we would’ve preferred having a little bit more time with our queso before getting our entrées.
I ordered the tacos fresco’s, which is three grilled tilapia tacos. Those tacos were absolutely amazing. The black beans were hot and amazing as well. The rice unfortunately was a little bit bland and was just barely lukewarm and not enjoyable. My wife had the Dirty Bob with steak inside a burrito and absolutely loved it.
Overall, an amazing experience and we will definitely be back. A couple little snafu’s is the reason it didn’t get five stars.

Been waiting since December for this restaurant to open. Definitely worth the wait, food was great. The facility seems small for the number of folks wanting to get in during lunch and dinner. Tried to get in at 4:30 on Thursday but the building was full, with over 30 minute wait. Luckily we made it before all the lunch crown made it in the previous day. Still overall great place with good food if you can get in!

Definitely worth the wait! Everything was so delicious, we really enjoyed our dinner. Our server Miranda was the best! And the GM Joseph was so awesome, he checked on all the customers and was very polite and professional. We couldn’t be more pleased.

The service was great! The tortilla my husband had on his enchilada was tough, though, and needed a sharp knife to cut. The side portion of beans was extremely small and over-priced. My nacho lunch plate was good….. so….. Hope it improves. We went the first week it was open….

This place is the bomb! We came during Icepocalypse 2026 and even with limited space, staff and time, they knocked it out of the park. Food was delicious, service by Rachel was phenomenal, and the margaritas were strong! Cannot wait to go back and try it again.
