Awful server. Took our order and said “I’ll be right back with chips and salsa”. Twenty minutes later he brought the chips followed a minute later with our order. Had to stop him and ask for a refill of my drink. Eighteen minutes later he brought the drink and left without checking on any other needs/wants. Did not see him again until he brought the check only to wait for him over 10 minutes (I didn’t time it) for him to run my card and bring back the charge slip.
The restaurant was slow with plenty of staff. Each time he left he seemed to have left the front of house and we never saw him at another table. 1pm on Tuesday with about a quarter of tables with customers.
The food was competent, not bad, but not really good. The chicken fajitas had no spice on them so very bland. Tamales were OK but flavorless (sad since years ago blue goose tamales were exceptional). Chicken tortilla soup did have plenty of food in it and the broth was OK. One exception was the salsa which was the star of the meal. A little on the spicy side giving it good flavor instead of the tomato sauce that many restaurants call salsa.

I’ve waited years to finally visit this place, and it was absolutely worth it. Everything about the experience exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. You can tell a lot of care goes into every detail. I had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

very very loud….hostess was rude..ish.asked to sit near or in bar she sat us far across other side of ” room” had the waitress move me and then still far from the bar.. 3 x asked for seating. only 2 of us!!!! and the booths are made for a size 3 people and the tables dont move…small things Ill try it again tho food was excellent!!!!!!! margaritas are good too! but small ya know!!!

Stop by blue goose for lunch. I ordered a chicken fajita which was good. They could’ve sliced the meat down a bit thinner. The atmosphere is nice. The waiter was polite and patient.
Also ordered a three drink special for margaritas on the rocks, which added a nice touch to my lunch .
They had a nice bar area where you could watch sports overall it was a good stop .

Great service from the server who took mine to go order. Left her a little tip. Very quick with my food 10 minutes or less. Although being very busy, they got my order correct and the food was amazing, very reasonable prices for all the food that I purchased. $30. However, I did NOT like the elotes.

The food is truly excellent, and the portion sizes are perfect. The drinks are also delightful but our margaritas were not as good til a new bartender put his spin on it. Those were awsome! Rebecca our server was wonderful! It was a bit warm inside, even on a winter day with temperatures I would estimate to be in the 60s. I was pleased when the air conditioning was activated, though it was unfortunately as we were departing. The restaurant’s decor could benefit from some enhancement. I would not have recognized it as a Mexican restaurant from either the interior or exterior. My son even commented that the exterior resembled a Long John Silver’s. Overall, the food is wonderful and reasonably priced. It simply lacks the distinctive Mexican aesthetic and music.,

I came in late on a Sunday evening. I went to the bar to grab a drink while I waited for my friend to arrive. Almost every seat had dirty dishes still sitting in front of them, but the bar was nearly empty. Maybe 4 people at the bar when I arrived. I was able to find one open seat and it took a few minutes before a server came over and left a menu. I finally ordered my drink and it came back pretty quickly. However, after that it was almost impossible to get the bartender to check on me, see if I wanted to order food or anything else. I finally asked for the check so I could close out and move to a table and that again took a very long time. By the time my friend arrived we had about an hour before closing and you could feel our server rushing us to make decisions and place orders. Even if the kitchen was closing if she said the kitchen closes in X minutes the rush would feel less rude. We ordered the food came out and she was just not a great server.
Overall, the food was decent, my drink was good….but I wouldn’t be rushing to come back.
