We have been a fan of The BFG/Nova since its’ (Bluefish Grill) inception. Excellent restaurant, with exceptional food. I can’t say enough about their appetizers and Entrees:
A favorite: KUNG PAO CHICKEN BITES. Excellent flavor with a spicy sauce!
I typically order the TERIYAKI Bowl with Grilled Chicken. This dish is outstanding. The chicken is likely the BEST chicken I have ever had in a restaurant. A large portion with a great Smokey/BBQ flavor and moist – OUTRAGEOUS!
Servers are great: Tom is attentive and a fabulous waiter. He has come to know what we like and typically reminds “us” what “we like best”!
A great place to enjoy excellent food, setting (outdoors in summer) and BYOB! 5-Stars!

Went here to eat with friends last weekend and the entire experience was delightful. The food was delicious. I had the fish and chips and it was yummy. Lightly battered and fried, but the cid I side was glistening and juicy. I also had their key lime pie for dessert and it was the best I have had outside of Florida. Our waiter Karim was excellent at describing the specials and making certain we were attended too. The weather was also excellent as there was a cool breeze blowing while we were seated outside. I plan to go back again soon, and make it a semi regular place to eat even though it is 45 miles away from home.

We were seated outside at our request and it was a bit cool so we asked for a heater. Our server Tom was happy to provide a heater that kept us warm. He was attentive and the food was great! It’s a BYOB place.

I literally never write reviews ever but I come to blue fish often to get takeout because I love their bowls. I was excited to be able to get takeout from them tonight because I had been craving it all week but I wasn’t able to make it in and so I put in an order right after I got off work and headed over. After I came home and got ready to eat I realized that the salmon I got was not cooked. I’m pretty sure they do sell raw fish items on the menu but this was supposed to be cooked, I’ve gotten this bowl numerous times, so I called them and very politely explained the situation and the lady on the phone (Jenn) scoffed and said “okay?” So I asked if I could get a refund she said yes, but then proceeded to tell me that I could just “pop it in the oven or microwave and that would probably do the trick” in a very condescending tone. After telling me she issued the refund I wanted to address what she had just told me but she literally hung up the phone on me as I was getting my sentence out. I’m sorry but after paying $24 for a meal I don’t expect to have to cook it myself.

Blue Fish Grill is located next to Stangle Market in Flemington. This is such a great eatery. It’s a BYOB yet they have select local NJ wines you can purchase by the bottle. Reasonably priced menu items and consistent, fresh food choices, 99% made from scratch in this highly functioning kitchen. Ask for Karim, he’s one of the best servers I’ve ever come across. Knowledgeable about the menu, tastes, flavors, he is more than a server, he’s a guide for your Blue Fish Grill experience. He greets you like family and makes sure your satisfaction is guaranteed. The owners ensure ingredients are fresh, there’s a choice on the menu for everyone. The fried calamari is what we had as an appy during this visit. It was fresh, had tentacles as we like, light and flaky with banana peppers & homemade tartar sauce. We also each had a cup of New England Clam Chowder which was rich, creamy, savory and was better than any chowder I’ve had in any New England restaurant. For entrees, my husband had Mojo Mariscos. Shrimp, Muscles & Scallops in a red sauce with 2 pieces of bread grilled, perfect for sopping up the juices. I had Fish and Chips. Classic dish, cod was fresh & batter was really delicious. It was accompanied by Cole slaw, tarter sauce & thinly sliced seasoned fries. YUMMY! We finished with a Plaintain Sundae. Great meal going back again soon!

This is a nice casual restaurant in Flemington. I had the hamburger and it was very good. It came with fries which has a sweet taste to them. I would go there again. My wife had the arugula craib salad and really like that as well.

Went here for a dinner out on a Thursday night. While I did make a reservation it wasn’t 100% necessary for 4 people. There are not a ton of good places in Flemington and this is one of them. It was decently expensive and the portions were quite small but the food was very good. The staff was very nice and helpful and the food came out fast. But as you can see in my picture they do have cool engraved pieces of wood with the QR code for the menu.

Oh my goodness. I never leave reviews and I just had to. Even had to change my password to get here. After work yesterday I wanted to treat myself to a nice salmon meal but realized there aren’t many places who serve salmon in the area. A coworker recommended bluefish and I am SO happy I tried it. I ordered the salmon teriyaki- simply amazing. I want it again- everyday. The take out guys were also so nice and welcoming when I called and when I arrived. They were busy answering tons of phone calls but did not make me feel like a nuisance (I work in the industry they are rockstars). Seems like a great place to sit down and eat, also. 10/10 will recommend to anyone and everyone.
