We booked the Blue Eyed Rascal team to provide our cake and desserts for our wedding. Communication with Alea was great and planning the dessert menu was so fun! Everything was SO tasty! They have many affordable cake flavor combinations and dessert options. But also, Blue Eyed Rascal went above and beyond for us. After the delivery team set up all the desserts, a huge unexpected storm hit. Knocking over decorations, pushing over tables, and shattering glass. Even though their job was complete they stepped in to help clean up and make our wedding happen. My family and I will forever be grateful to the team at Blue Eyed Rascal!

Wow! This place is owned and operated by a 16-year-old! I’m floored and amazed by her ambition.
Our family made the trek from Ottawa to check out the bakery. I was super excited to get Intelligencia coffee as I have missed it from my Chicago days. Our four children each found a treat they enjoyed – two different cupcakes, a peanut butter cookie, and a unicorn shaped sugar cookie!
The space was lovely – bright and inviting. I enjoyed the marble window table we sat at with wooden benches. I will return.

I enjoy experimenting in different cities their bakeries, restaurants, et cetera. It was a different type of atmosphere because the ladies were young and not very social. It would be nicer to have more comforting repoore with the people that work at that establishment to the public. Don’t be afraid to strike up conversations with a new client. Makes one feel as though it was nice that I stopped. Their menu selection was OK I didn’t see anything over the top. The establishment was clean, and I had the cheddar bagel which was OK. I will try again in the near future. I do frequent Streator quite often. There is room for improvement. Don’t be afraid of us Senior citizens we enjoy talking lol.

A place I have enjoyed since they opened in June of 2019! This bakery is ran by 3 teenage women and they do a phenomenal job of making you feel right at home! They offer a wide selection of items that differ each day so you can always get something different and exciting. If you need a baked good, cold or hot drink, and fun experience, the Blue Eyed Rascal is the place for you!

I have tried this place 2 times now, very limited selection of homebake treats. I do not like scones but if you do I guess give them a try. The cupcake was something I as a non baker could make at home and for the price of one I could have made over a dozen. This is not a bakery so if your looking for a bakery go to Ottawa where the selection is that of a bakery. Such a shame I was hoping for a nice place in Streator.

If you’re looking for a quick homemade sweet treat, this is the place! I’ve indulged in a few items that keeps bringing me back for more. I guess what I’m saying is that I’m direct depositing my paychecks here. The scones, multiple flavors, are on point. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and full of flavor! Each with a scrumptious quantity of fruit built in. They are good enough that I was to set up a poetry night and just talk about scones. The s’more cupcake was divine and it will get you in trouble with your trainer. But if you buy them one they will understand. I’ve also had the pineapple upside down cupcake. I was whisked away to tropical bliss strumming on my six string sitting on my front porch swing. It was the right amount of sweetness unlike your aunt Trudy at the family reunion who leaves lipstick all over your face and squeezes your cheeks. The cake itself was so soft I wanted to use it as a pillow after the flavor town coma I just endured. I haven’t had much of the coffee except for a French vanilla iced latte. Which made for a nice pairing with my baked bounty. Satisfying! A peaceful place with wifi and good tunes in the background. It’s now the best kept secret in Streator.
