Delicious food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere is how to describe Blue Door Deli and Market. The Deli & Market has a little bit of everything from breakfast items to a lunch menu. I tried the breakfast burrito which had scrambled eggs, chorizo, and potatoes, all wrapped in a warm tortilla. It was made fresh and served quickly right after placing the order. It’s a great place to meet friends to get a quick breakfast or lunch.

We stopped in for dinner and were not disappointed. I got a club sandwich which was perfect, my daughter got a kids turkey sub (which came with chips and a fountain drink for $4.99), and my husband got a gorgonzola salad. Portions were great, quality was great, and the prices were reasonable. The service was also wonderful: we got there close to closing time and the staff didn’t make us feel rushed to finish eating, which was generous. All staff were wearing masks. It’s kind of small inside with limited seating. They have a few small tables outside. We’ll definitely be back.

This is a little gem in my hometown. I didn’t even know that it was here until a few months ago. The food is great. The service is great. I love the “home” feel I have whenever I’m having lunch there. From the owner to the employees and even to the other patrons that come in, everyone is so nice. There’s always something on the menu for you here at The Blue Door Deli.

Had a wonderful experience today at the Blue Door Deli. I have ordered sandwiches to go before and was very satisfied. Trying to decide what to order is the biggest challenge about the restaurant in my opinion.
We were returning home from vacation so not in a hurry and dined in. We ordered a head of time and it was ready shortly after we arrived and paid. (Also… received a promotional text from them earlier that morning for a free ice cream cone which we shared before we left.)
I ordered the Cane Creek Club with macaroni salad and my other half got the Rea View Rubin with cole slaw. The sandwiches looked amazing and tasted that way too! We sampled each others, and couldn’t decide which one we like the best.
We got there during the peak lunch time. But everything went very smoothly and management was very upbeat and organized. We just had a really nice experience which was great way to end our vacation. Next time I think we will go for the Breakfast. I look forward to making this a regular to go to in WXW.

Overall experience was great!! I had the Pastrami on a hoagie roll. The only problem for me was the spicy mustard was way to strong . It overpowered the pastrami. The spicy mustard tasted good but I think it was just to much on the sandwich. Great experience.

This is the worst breakfast I have had in a long time! I had my order delivered and I am rating this place a one star for the following reasons.
1. Order arrived cold
2. Order was incorrect quantity. I ordered 2 Omelette bowls and I received one.
3. My Cinnamon roll didn’t come with cream cheese. – just a dry, hard Cinnamon roll
4. Croissant was squished flat like a thin slice of bread.
5. Biscuit was hard and dry.
This was a horrible first impression and I will never trouble this place for a meal EVER again!

Cheap, ish. convenient. Friendly and fast ish service. Sweet tea was good but almost almost had a over brew taste so it was just about perfect. My buffalo chicken wrap was pretty good and the fries where delicious. Will be back a good “blue” hole in the wall I did not see any public restroom.

I went with a friend for lunch at the Blue Door Deli in downtown Waxhaw on a Saturday afternoon. It was my first time eating here, and we sat outside. I like how many of their sandwiches are named after the local schools. Since my daughter goes to Marvin Ridge, I ordered the Marvin Ridge Philly. It was really good. My friend ordered a bagel with Lox and he enjoyed it. I was impressed with the Blue Door Deli and look forward to coming back soon.

The not everything bagel? The bagel was everything you would NOT expect or want. Additionally, the value to product is way off. I tried this place as a recommendation for bagels and it failed tremendously. 5 bagels for over $13 is one thing, but when they fall apart; it’s a clear indication of frozen low quality food and not fresh. My journey continues, but I would steer clear of the Blue Door Deli in Waxhaw, just not an ideal or high quality place, from my personal experience.
