I went to Blue Door with my friends for her birthday on a Tuesday night, and we had such a great time. The atmosphere was so nice, and the bartender was super sweet and accommodating. We had a blast — we were able to talk, drink, and just enjoy the night without feeling rushed. I loved the decorations, too. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Visiting from Ohio-we randomly went to Blue Door on a Sunday night and the drinks were amazing! Complex and delicious and a very cool menu set up. The atmosphere in this bar is perfect. A slightly upscale vibe but very welcoming and just all around cool. Loved it so much we stopped by the next Sunday for their One Year Anniversary celebration on our way back to Ohio. Thank you Chase and Ben! And thank you Blue Door!

One of my fave cocktails spots!! The bartenders and servers are so knowledgeable about all of the drinks. I will get you what you need! Always the most creative menus too. Went to the Halloween pop-up, and it was pretty cool. The drinks were super delicious and came in fancy glasses or contraptions.

Amazing place!!! The Chicago drink our bartender Jordan recommended was spot on and literally everything I love. My husband really enjoyed the drink he got, too! The complimentary truffle popcorn was such a nice touch, and Mike was awesome to chat with. We’re coming back this weekend. This place rocks! Oh! And on Wednesdays it’s basically half off drinks. So fabulous cocktails for $10, not bad at all. Highly highly recommend. The ambiance was very nice, too!

I want to start by saying how much I truly love The Blue Door. The space is beautiful, and the ambience is the reason I continue to come back..it’s what makes it feel special.
Unfortunately, the Valentine’s Day package upgrade felt underwhelming. Being placed in the back room felt claustrophobic and took away from the signature atmosphere The Blue Door is known for. Rather than enhancing the experience, the upgrade felt like a downgrade simply because the ambience wasn’t there.
I wasn’t alone in feeling this way..others shared similar thoughts, which is why I felt it was important to mention. Ambience is a huge part of why people choose The Blue Door, especially for special occasions, and when that’s missing, it really changes the experience.
I share this respectfully because I genuinely love your space and want it to live up to its potential, particularly on meaningful nights like Valentine’s Day.

This place is a complete catfish. It looks nothing like it does online. Staff is unfriendly, they use AI to create their menu. They should’ve hired a real artist and copywriter. They batch their cocktails (were out of their most popular drink at the start of the night) and use JOSE CUERVO for a drink that costs $18. That’s something I drank in college. Yuck! And since they are batched you can’t change the liquor. They were also playing choir music and the vibes were just not festive or fun at all. Don’t recommend.
