We are an intimate, fun cafe serving breakfast and lunch daily. During the winter season, December through April we are open for Friday evening dinners. Our menu consists of freshly prepared breakfast and lunch fare with daily specials prepared by our Culinary Institute graduates.

7-20-23. Convenient on island location. Comfortable booths and not noisy. I had a good omelette but my hash browns were barely warm, waitstaff made it right with a quick delivery of piping hot hash browns. Overall a pleasant experience. We will be back. My husband and I went on a weekday with our 3 year old for a quick casual bite only to be extremely impressed. Everything we ordered was delicious. He has not ordered Eggs Benedict in months because not a single restaurant would get it right, but they hit it right on the money. Blue Dolphin, your Thursday morning chef is talented! We also tried their homemade corn beef hash – amazing. Bonus: We found a new local hot sauce as well!

We stopped for breakfast, and we were greeted immediately at the door and told that we could sit anywhere we wanted. We chose a booth. Music from the 70s was playing in the background. I had the three-cheese omelet. Large and satisfying. However, there was so much cheese that the center was cold and unmelted. I elected sourdough toast and a side of fruit. Tasty and fresh. Hubby had the basic two egg, toast, and home fries special. He really loved the home fries because they were quite large chunks of crispy potatoes. My coffee cup was never empty. Coffee was medium-bodied and hot. All the wait staff took turns filling cups and being attentive to customers. We will return.

Blue Dolphin was a great cafe choice for a fun little breakfast with the family. I will say when I asked for mushrooms onions and jalapeños on my omelette I didn’t necessarily think they’d cut up about 6 peppers worth haha. After picking out the overkill on the peppers the food we quite good. They were wonderful to our baby girl who was enjoying some fruit and French toast.

We tried the Blue Dolphin cafe for Sunday Brunch. The atmosphere was clean and inviting and the service was great. Food was much better than other breakfast locations in the area so this has become our go-to place. We tried French Toast, Blue Dolphin omelette, Belgian Waffle, and the Blue Dolphin Special — all were great!

Medium breakfast today. Ordered medium over eggs and they were easy over. This happens often at breakfast joints so not a biggie. I’d prefer a Yukon potato instead of russets for home fries. Had a side of corned beef hash and this I didn’t like. Weird taste and way too chopped up. One cup of coffee, not refilled. For $25 I’m full though.

I enjoy going here for breakfast there food is good and this particular restaurant doesn’t feel too crowded. Their omelets are amazing and the wait staff is very friendly. As a local real estate broker who lives on the island I would say this is a top breakfast spot!
