Wow, that was an amazing experience. Such a great atmosphere, staff super friendly, and the food so delicious. Everyone should try their bread; it is great! We will surely be back very soon.

Every experience is a good one. Poached egg and bacon pizza is my favorite. Seasonal macarons and galettes are a delight.

Kouign Aman is only available on Friday and Saturday. By noon, they could be sold out. To secure a few of these gems, I arrived around 8 am, when there was no wait. Unfortunately, the glass partition and my soft voice must’ve confused the server. I ended up with only 1 Kouign Aman and a bunch of other pastries. I didn’t notice until I opened the bags at home.

Around 10 am, I went back and there were lines coming out the door. Most people were waiting for a breakfast table. I found the line for baked goods and waited for 1 of the 2 cashiers. A woman slipped in the left side door (the sign outside says EXIT) and stood right behind a family at the cashier nearest the door. I thought she was part of that family but when they left, she stayed and the cashier took her order! They both ignored the line of people obviously waiting for baked goods. I didn’t bother to interrupt but next time, I’ll be better prepared.

1) Go early on Friday or Saturday.
2) If it’s busy, ask people if they are in line for the bakery or the café. There are 2 lines and it can be confusing. Watch out for people trying to butt in by sneaking in through the Exit door.
3) Speak up and get the KOUIGN AMAN!
4) Check my order before I leave.
5) Heat the Kouign Aman gently for a few minutes.

It was the best Kouign Aman I’ve ever had, especially when gently re-heated.

The place is located on a well-known avenue in Louisville, making it easy to find. Despite the busy area, there is plenty of street parking available along the avenue, which is very convenient. The atmosphere is beautiful and well-decorated, with seating both outside on the sidewalk and indoors. The outdoor tables have heaters nearby, making it cozy even on colder days. Although the interior space isn’t very large, it’s perfect for a good breakfast. The breakfast I had was simply fantastic! The flavor combinations and product quality are amazing. The price is a bit high but reasonable, considering the experience and taste. They also have an in-house bakery with a wide variety of breads and flavors that look delicious!

The service and food were both outstanding. They have a large bakery selection, and my sister and I found ourselves impressed with the lunch menu as well. We couldn’t decide on which sandwich we wanted, so we each got one and split. My favorite was the Turkey & Swiss, but the Jambon was very good, too ! I had to get a pain au chocolat because they just looked so good! Spoiler alert: it was. I will definitely be back to try out the coffee and more bakery options!! I highly recommend ❤️

Unparalleled pastry and bread, hands down. The turkey sandwich tastes like its adding years back onto my lifespan. Visiting first thing in the morning to get the freshest pick of all the incredible options plus a cup of coffee will actually renew your will to live. This place is one of my all time favorites ever, anywhere – I hope you try them and enjoy it just as much as I do!

This place is AMAZING! A must try if you’re in or around the Louisville area! They freshly bake their bread and pastries every single day. This also isn’t your typical commercial baking, everything is made from scratch. Every item that I’ve gotten has been phenomenal. Service was fast and the staff were exceptional.

Edit: We have been coming here regularly for over a year and while the pastries are still really good, the service has consistently gone down. Our last visit was awful. The lady at the counter did not smile or say hello throughout the whole transaction, and when my husband took an extra 10 seconds to look at what pastries were available, she was impatient, visibly annoyed and made us feel like we just made her wait 10 minutes. With the service getting worse, the amazing pastries are no longer worth it for us. The service was bad enough to spoil my morning.

Bread and pastries here are divine. You can pick blindfolded and it will still be guaranteed amazing. Kouign amann is the best we’ve ever had – they are available only on Fridays and Saturdays and usually sell out before the afternoon. But, there are plenty of other pasties and they are all fresh, flaky perfection. Hands down the best bakery in Louisville!

Came for the lattes, stayed for the lattes.
Delicious espresso and very well-designed and crafted specialty drink menu! I highly recommend a visit!
My only issue is that they charge $1.50 extra for non-dairy milk! Honestly a vast overcharge for what should be factored into the drink cost.

One of my favorite cafes in town. Surprisingly every single item on menu is delicious.I’ve tried poached egg and bacon flatbread, spicy mushroom and spinach flatbread, mushroom tartine and smoked salmon tartine. Blueberry cheesecake just tastes like heaven.
