The food, however, was a bit hit or miss. The tacos were quite good, but the truffle fries fell short of expectations. It’s also worth noting that prices are on the higher side, so be prepared to spend a fair amount when dining here.
Her drinks were really good, especially her margarita. The dynamite shrimp were excellent too.
They just need to manage it better is all.
Even though she was the only one working, she was hustling and doing a great job making sure everyone was taken care of. I ordered the steak, and it came out exactly as I requested. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted fresh and flavorful. The French fries also stood out because they tasted freshly cut rather than frozen, which I really appreciated.
Overall, I had a great experience at Blue Dixie Kitchen. I can understand that if it were busier and only one person was working, it might not be quite as smooth. But for my visit, everything was on point, and I would definitely recommend checking it out.
The people working there aren’t very nice tbh. Except for one Colombian waitress who was nice and had a positive attitude.
We tried the buffet breakfast the following day and the food was subpar. It was $17 for the buffet and I can say that it was not worth that much. Luckily we had vouchers to use.
The staff were nice and helpful even though they were short staffed the night of dinner.
For dinner, I highly recommend the Mexican Mule cocktail, the chicken quesadillas (they are HUGE & delish) and the blackened shrimp flatbread (the shrimp on this are 10/10!)
For the breakfast buffet, I highly recommend the omelette station, the potato wedges, the fresh fruit and the cranberry juice!
I also really liked that kids eat free here when you are a hotel guest and have a paid adult meal.
