1.) Blue denim had a great atmosphere, from the decor on the wall to the close nit quarters of the restaurant it was a good evening. The food was delicious. I ordered the Crawfish Fettuccine, I could have eaten two plates. I frequently found myself using the bread with honey butter to sop the sauce on my plate.

This is a great place. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. We ordered one appetizer and four plates. The appetizer was disappointing, we ordered delta ribs and although they were flavorful, they were overcooked and dry. The plates however, did not disappoint, they were all delicious. We had the shrimp & grits (my favorite), crawfish fettuccini, Etouffee (SPICY SPICY) and the shrimp & crab gumbo (SPICY). Be warned, the plates are very heavy in seasoning and spice. We love it, but may take people by surprise. The bread is another level of good, make sure you order it. And finally, the bread pudding!! Oh god, our whole table still dreams about it. It is out of this world delicious. Too good to be real.

We dined here on Tuesday, August 22nd and I felt compelled to leave a little review. Everything was fantastic. The food was fabulous – we ordered the duck confit nachos, crispy okra, crawfish étouffée, and the crispy catfish and they were all amazing. The etouffee was a little on the spicy side which is how it should be so no complaints, just noting. I’m definitely putting this place on rotation. And our server, Naomi, I believe, was joyful, fun, patient and accommodating. Top tier 10/10 run, don’t walk, to Blue Denim!

I ordered the crawfish etouffe with crawfish beignets and the banana pudding to have for dinner after getting off work. The staff was great when I walked in. They told me they didn’t have banana pudding for take out since it was pre prepared in Mason jars and to my surprise they put some aside for me in a small takeout container. I was disappointed with the banana pudding I did not like the caramel in it. The caramel messed up the whole dessert for me. The crawfish beignets with that sauce was goof. The etouffe had amazing flavor!!! My only issue with the etouffe was the rice was not cooked. The rice was so hard. If the rice was cooked it would’ve been outstanding!

Best food I’ve had, anywhere! Peach bourbon cocktail smash was refreshing and perfect! The burrata salad was perfect and better than we’ve had at many other restaurants. The crawfish fettuccine was absolutely AMAZING! And, the banana pudding is to die for!

Came here with my Husband for our anniversary. Literally this place was a 10 out of 10. This was our second time visiting and they never disappoint. The staff is always inviting. I love the cozy intimate dining setting. The food is phenomenal and the wine was so rich in flavor . Definitely will be back !

We went for a friend’s birthday. I do not recommend this place for large groups! Place is too small. Our waiter, Cameron was great!! The female waitresses were snarky and rude! Wish I got their names. One was short and wears hair in a bun. They will add fees for everything pertaining to large groups. Go there for date night. Food was delicious!! We had shrimp and crab gumbo, shrimp and grits, Mr Chicken, and crawfish fettuccine.

The service was horrible. The waitresses and manager was very rude. We called a month to reserve asked to be seated along the wall because we were going to have a party of 16. When we got there, there were people sitting on the side they said we could have. Then we asked if they can turn our tables long ways so that we all can seat together rather than sitting two separate tables. The waitress said she couldn’t. We turn the tables long ways they didn’t harm or disturb any. The waitress tried to snatched my credit card out my hand. The way she did she about took my arm off. I told her she needs to slow her roll. They added $20 to my daughters ticket and she asked what the charge was, the waitress said for the birthday cake that she bought in. No one said that if you bring a cake in there will be a charge. When we came in with the cake, waitress asked if need her to store the cake until after dinner. Waitress said there is a $20 charge for outside food, which was never discussed. She said y’all are the cake here and we said no, no one at any cake we song happy birthday. That’s when she went back and told the owner. He took the charge off. When my daughter got home she noticed that they took $250 off her card. She called back they told her because all 16 of her party didn’t come she was being charge. Twelve out sixteen people came. All these hidden charges are ridiculous. I don’t recommend anyone to come here for no occasion.

You will need to make a reservation. We walked in one Saturday and were told we needed a reservation. So we returned another time. It’s a super cute cozy restaurant with amazing food! We had sangria which was delicious. Our favorite appetizer was the crab and asparagus. I had the shrimp and grits. My husband had the scallops both entrees were amazing! We had the banana pudding for dessert. The banana had caramelized sugar like crème brûlée. We loved everything about this restaurant and we’ll definitely be back soon!

Food was amazing! Catfish & grits were great and the crawfish fettuccine I’ll definitely be back for! We didn’t get to try the dessert because our party bought a cake for the birthday guest but next time I’m definitely trying the bread pudding! Service was awesome as well.
