I recently visited this deli, and I have to say, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. First off, the sandwiches were absolutely terrible. The bread was stale, the ingredients tasted old, and the whole thing was put together so sloppily that it fell apart the second I picked it up. It was clear that no effort was put into making the food even remotely decent.
As if the awful sandwich wasn’t bad enough, the customer service was even worse. The woman working there was incredibly rude from the moment I walked in. She acted like I was an inconvenience just for ordering, rolled her eyes at me, and had a terrible attitude the whole time. When I politely asked if my sandwich could be remade because it was so poorly made, she snapped at me and refused. Things escalated so quickly that she actually pushed me out of the store! I was completely shocked—who does that to a paying customer?
I would never recommend this deli to anyone. Horrible food, even worse service, and an employee who literally puts their hands on customers. Avoid this place at all costs!

Ordered 2 large hoagies. The 1st one was ham, salami, and American cheese only. Nothing else. She weighed the meat, picked up one slice of ham off the scale and ripped it in half. Then we get home and there isn’t salami on it. No one else was in the place and she wrote down the order. The next hoagie was covered in Italian dressing. I never asked for Italian dressing. I got Mayo and oil and vinegar. Didn’t see or taste any oil and vinegar

I’m not sure if I slept on this place for years or what. I have no idea when Peter’s Deli became Blue Deli. All I can tell you is I have been getting cheesesteaks and italian subs in Wilkes Barre for 15 years and this place holds up with the best of them.
Vinos, Phillys Phinest, Philadelphia Subs, etc, Blue Deli is just as good if not subjectively better than them. I am half way through my italian sub and from the first bite it was fantastic. Corner store, quick in and out, proper pricing. This is easily a 5 star business in Wilkes Barre PA.

It’s a really nice place. You got quick shopping in the front with a deli also that serves you name it they got it, and I’m talking about there hoagie and any kinds of sandwiches you want. You go around the back and there’s the restaurant. Its wheel chair accessible and that’s the first thing you notice. Inside there is 6 or 7 tables with plenty of room to lean back and rub tour belly after you think your done 😉 But the place is amazing, you got your pick of all the world’s beat beers, now…you name it, they have it. And so, while you are waiting for some of the best food this city has ever had and made by one or the other family members that own the business and who are some of the nicest people your ever gonna meet really.

Yea. Pretty good subs and or hoagies. Better than Subway. Priced reasonable. Decent beer selection on the other side with foreign, domestic and Ipa’s locally brewed stuff. Always a good special. You can usually get some ipa on sale for two for a $1 and $1 Keystones and Bush. 25 ouncers. Freindly workers. Don’t stroll to far off Blackman st tho. Confronted by some wanna be gansta teen with his ‘from West philidelphia born and raised friends asked me for my phone. I laughed inside and said NO but ill give u this and shook his hand. He’s lucky I didn’t give him what was in my carry/conceal holster. He backed off, lucky for him he got smart & went back to his girl friends or “booyz” or whatever. Pull up your pants and do something for society. These idiots today and this country. Shady neighborhood’s around. But generally ok during reg. Business hrs.1 carry a weapon after 12am esp on weekends. If ur female have a friend w/ you. Where are the cops??? It’s a wonderful town WB turned into….right.

It’s really run down, and not really a big selection of stuff.the guy working at the counter was miserable, and you can tell he didn’t want to be there. It’s also I a really bad area. If you need a drink, or snack on the fly it’s not bad.
