Blue Daisy Café offers an exceptional brunch experience in the heart of downtown Santa Monica. Its convenient location makes it an easy walk from my new place, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite local finds.

The ambiance is bright, relaxed, and welcoming, with plenty of outdoor seating ideal for people watching and enjoying the coastal air. The setting perfectly captures the laid-back yet vibrant feel of Santa Monica — a space where you can linger over coffee or have an unhurried brunch with friends.

The Nutty Banana Pancake is a standout dish — light, fluffy, and full of rich, nutty flavor balanced by just the right amount of sweetness. The Pistachio Latte with whipped cold foam is another highlight, offering a smooth and aromatic flavor profile with a luxurious creamy texture. For something savory, the Breakfast Burrito is hearty and satisfying, especially when paired with the perfectly seasoned and crispy fries on the side.

The service was exceptional throughout — friendly, attentive, and professional without ever feeling rushed. Every interaction felt genuine, and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.

In all, Blue Daisy Café captures everything you’d want in a Santa Monica brunch spot: great food, excellent service, and a relaxed yet lively atmosphere. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, it’s a must-visit destination for a truly enjoyable brunch experience.

Zucchini Hash is spectacular!! Too bad is only 2 pieces per the price. The servers were really kind and nice. The food was amazing and I loved that I was available to pick specific breakfast or make my own— also had gluten free options for almost everything! Me & my boyfriend have gluten sensitivities so this is amazing. Will definitely go back or order home. My boyfriend paid at it was $96 for both of us— 3 drinks, 5 lside dishes and main plate.

One of the more memorable brunch’s we had visiting LA. Would recommend the Turkish breakfast for a well rounded breakfast. Street parking only. Does get pretty busy!

The BEST dining experience I’ve had in recent years! Super cute indoor and semi-outdoor (shaded patio) seatings, bossa nova music, top-notch cleanliness. Located in the cozy Santa Monica neighborhood. A great brunch option with reasonable pricing given the quality of vibe, food and service on a beautiful day like this. I wanted to try different items and ordered for a big brunch, but depending on your appetite, $20-30/person is easily achievable.

Taryn and Suzy made sure I got the seat I like despite several changes of ideas from my end. Had an amazing chat with the owner Leyla on restaurant history, reasons behind menu update, the ingredients of the most delicious ice foamed pistachio matcha latte and Turkish latte. LOVED the Turkish zucchini hashbrowns and sausage Nestor went above and beyond by making sure I got Tapatío (hot sauce) and ketchup. Chayo from the bar was super friendly too. Everyone is so great at being on top of a busy time around lunch and yet stayed professional, welcoming and made my meal extra heart-warming besides the amazing food and drinks they offered. Wish restaurant goers appreciate the traditional Turkish drinks more so that they could be brought back to the regular menu one day when I revisit!!!

Amazing work team and best of luck to your amazing restaurant!!!

What an incredible gem in the heart of Santa Monica! I had breakfast at Blue Daisy, and it turned out to be one of the best brunch experiences I’ve had in a long time. The place has such a welcoming and cozy vibe — bright, stylish, and filled with that easygoing California energy that instantly puts you in a good mood.

I ordered the Turkish Eggs with Sujuk, and honestly, they were absolutely amazing. Perfectly poached eggs served over creamy yogurt with just the right touch of spice — the flavors were authentic, comforting, and beautifully balanced. The Sujuk (Turkish sausage) added a delicious smoky and slightly spicy flavor that made every bite irresistible. It tasted homemade, like something you’d find at a boutique café in Istanbul, but with a California twist. The presentation was elegant, and you could tell there was real attention to detail in how it was prepared and plated.

The staff were fantastic — warm, efficient, and attentive without ever rushing you. Even though the restaurant was busy, they took the time to make sure everything was perfect. They offered great recommendations and served everything with genuine smiles, which made the whole experience even better.

The coffee was excellent too — rich, smooth, and freshly brewed. It paired perfectly with the Turkish Eggs, rounding out the meal beautifully. And the overall atmosphere — sunny morning light, friendly chatter, and the smell of great food in the air — made it the kind of place you don’t want to leave.

If you’re looking for a place that combines authentic flavors, quality ingredients, and a warm, laid-back atmosphere, Blue Daisy is the spot. Whether you’re dining solo, meeting friends, or just looking to treat yourself to a perfect brunch, this place truly delivers. The Turkish Eggs with Sujuk alone are worth coming back for — and I definitely will!

A regular favorite for breakfast/brunch. One of those places that gets everything right. Their back patio is a gem of santa monica. They pay attention to the little things, which is what greatness is about. Andrea (also a gem of santa monica) made me a halloween latte with a pumpkin and ghosts. Just a symbol of their attention to detail. Made me love the place more.

It all started with a plea. The owner of this establishment went on the local Reddit to ask for advice on how to save his (her? Their?) restaurant. The comments were filled with people who’d gone and loved it, but it had just dropped off of their radar. Sounded like a good choice to try some weekend

I’d heard of the Blue Daisy, and had meant to go, but just hadn’t gotten around to it. I can see why the owner was soliciting marketing advice. Anyway, this last Saturday, Google Maps told me it was less busy than usual so we rolled out of bed (at 10, don’t judge) and headed over. Had the best luck with parking. I was concerned when I saw what looked like a very full restaurant, but was seated immediately.

I had the savory crepe, she had the basic breakfast. I’m not sure if it’s possible to overstuff a crepe, but they sure tried. It was delicious, and I think I’d have been satisfied with half the filling for the price I paid. My partner had the best scrambled eggs anywhere and amazing bacon too. The server was super friendly and attentive. The coffee was fantastic.

New regular spot in the rotation

Street corner café in downtown SM with a nice variety of seating and the usual breakfast / brunch options, but with a little simple creativity thrown in. Whatever coffee you are used to, try the Turkish coffee! Also the fig, goat cheese and honey toast ‐ SO GOOD! The crepes also are just right, not watery or over cooked. Music was a bit much and unavoidable. Some would say it is Good, but not as good as the bill would have you think . .
