I wanted to like this place but everything was mediocre. I had to remind our server that we’d ordered water when we sat down. They have a lot of choices for food so we asked our server for suggestions. I went with the fried cod sandwich with hush puppies. The fish was dry and overcooked. It needed seasoning. I enjoyed the pickled cabbage. A little more remoulade might have helped. The hush puppies also had no flavor. The flooring has multiple levels so be careful. It was disappointing.

The food was amazing! The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was super juicy and tender — full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The crab soup was rich and satisfying, and the grilled lemon pepper salmon was fresh, zesty, and well-seasoned.
For dessert, we had the brownie sundae, caramel cheesecake, and carrot cake — each one was indulgent and delicious! The perfect sweet ending to a great meal. I had a great time. ✨. Highly recommend!

This place is so cute and the perfect date night restaurant!! The food was amazing and Whitley our waitress was a doll!! So worth the drive from our place in King William, we will for sure be back!! We forgot to take a photo of the food( fried pickles and hush puppies for apps- fish and chips and fried oysters for entrees ). Regretting our decision to not get dessert because the cheesecake sounded so good on the way out!!

Crab cake sandwich and fish & chips entree is delicious and plenty to eat…Our hostess/server was attentive with our needs and deserves mentioning for sure. Highly recommend a visit to this place!

A friend of mine and I drove to my hometown area for patio furniture shopping in Saluda and we stopped here for lunch. Even though I’m from WP, I’ve never been to The Blue Crab.
The decor was really cute. Very nautical (of course). I’m bummed we didn’t go on Sunday!! AYCE crab legs?! Yum!
But the food we ordered was very delicious. We started with the crab dip (kinda pictured in a corner shot) and then we both had the crab cake sandwich for our meal. The crab cake was hefty! All crab meat. I barely saw any filler. I miss the taste of blue crabs!
Service was decent. We waited for a little bit to be seated.. it seemed like there was one server for the 14-18 people (6-7 tables).

We went to The Blue Crab today for the first time and had a great experience. The restaurant was busy and understaffed, but the servers handled it very well. We were pleased with all the food and definitely plan on returning. The fries that came with our fish and chips were light and delicious! The fried cod, oysters and seared tuna were cooked properly. The crab bites were fantastic and we also enjoyed the mahi and shrimp tacos. If you’re looking for a casual restaurant with good seafood this one checks all the boxes!

Great place to eat. My in-laws have been eating here regularly for a couple of years now. I’ve been a couple of times and the food is always great. The service was outstanding this time. Very quick to get our orders out, food was cooked well and hot. This is what small businesses are all about. If you’re in the area, get out, have some great food and support local businesses like the Blue Crab!
