The tomyam prawn is outstanding — spicy, sour and aromatic with lemongrass and kaffir lime, while the prawns are fresh and juicy, giving the soup a deep seafood sweetness.
The highlight appetizer is the miang kham fried fish, beautifully presented with betel leaves and toppings that create a perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty and spicy flavours in every bite.
Overall, a great spot for Thai seafood lovers looking for bold flavours and satisfying dishes in Penang.
The crab is highly recommended. The taste is really good. The steam fish and basil pork are good too. The portion for the Mama noodle is a lot. They were ran out off roasted pork that day and replaced it with pork balls. The pork balls are so good. I probably will have it again with the pork balls option.
If you go with kids or vegetarian member, the menu will be slightly limited for them. But you can always check with the staff if any customisation is allowed.
One bite will transport you to a Bangkok night market!
[Thai Mama Noodles] The spicy and sour broth is incredibly rich! The ramen soaked up the broth and combined with the raw egg is an instant comfort! The grilled meat and seafood toppings are so filling!
[Thai Grilled Pork Neck] The crispy skin and juicy meat are incredibly tender! Dipping it in the secret sauce is incredible! You’ll want a second order straight away!

It’s been ages since I’ve had such delicious Thai food! Girls!
1. Coconut Milk Soup – Not rich enough. The overall taste is there, but adding more spices and flavors would enhance it a lot.
2. Fried Shrimps – Not bad. Plenty of shrimp inside and nicely coated with breadcrumbs.
3. Crab Meat Omelette – Fresh crab meat used; both the presentation and taste are good.
4. Fried Oyster Omelette – Quite disappointing. We expected something like what we had in Bangkok: a fried omelette with a bit of starch at the bottom for crispiness and oysters on top. Instead, it turned out to be fried dough with just a few tiny oysters—definitely not worth the price. The whole dish was mostly flour and dough, with no real taste or sign of eggs.
5. Desserts – Also disappointing. They basically just poured thick santan from a pack and added some toppings. That’s not how it should be done ok.
Overall, the service is great, and reservations are recommended. But food-wise, it’s not as good as it looks or as expected. Worth a second visit? Personally, I’d say no.
