First trip to this restaurant for my daughter and I. We ordered cheese dip and chips for an appetizer. The chips were hot and fresh. The cheese dip was hot but very thick and bland with no seasoning.
I ordered grilled pork chop. She ordered blackened pork chopand when they came. There was no apparent difference in the two. Both pork chops were freezer burned, and we were unable to eat them.
We both got baked potatoes, and they both were very hot, however, mine was an old potato That had turned yellow inside.
They only things I can say about the restaurant, is the service Was good and the food was hot.
Very disappointed in a $58 meal.

Food was delicious. Service was great! One suggestion: make sure your customers know that gratuity will be added to your bill. We had 4 sit down to eat and my daughter came in with a to go order and 20% was added to my ticket. We always always leave tips…but service was great.

All man the food at this place was so good. Me and my daughter stopped for lunch after touring the college campus. My steak was cooked perfectly and so good I didn’t need any steak sauce and my daughter had a burger she said was good. Our server was friendly and the restaurant was clean even down to the restrooms. Worthy of returning to and if you’re in the area you should go visit it for something to eat.

Consumer beware!! We are here Saturday October 18 2025. We should have known better since we were the only ones in there. Food was below average at best. Service was awful. They charge you 20% on parties more than 5 and do not tell you. That was a $15 tip for someone who did not know the menu and never offered us a drink refill. Chicken fried steak came with what they called brown gravy that had an awful smell and tasted even worse. Owner did offer a substitute that was not fit to eat. We will never be back.

Me, my wife, and our 3 kids stopped by this place not too long ago and all I can say is WOW! We typically don’t stop in to eat much due to our young children becoming fussy, but something about this place kept them in a good mood the entire meal! The service was fantastic and very accommodating for our children. I don’t think I spoke to a single employee that didn’t make you feel like you were apart of their family. As for the food, the only thing that could have made it better was if my mother had been there to finally taste a chicken fried steak that was better than hers! My wife is the pickiest eater I’ve ever met and she got mad on the way home that she couldn’t have tried everything on the menu. We also had a small incident when our youngest threw his Mac-N-Cheese off the table, but a sweet waitress came by and replaced it free of charge! I’m not sure why this place isn’t more well known, but I’ll be sure to mention it to anybody that will listen! And we will DEFINITELY be back!

I never write reviews, but this was absolutely horrible food!! We each ordered a steak (3) and all of them were cooked wrong, no flavor, very tough and hard to cut into. We couldn’t eat but a few bites it was so bad. Green beans and mashed potatoes tasted horrible as well. We paid over $100, never offered a discount or to remake anything. We will never set food in here again.

Food was cold. Sent my baked potato back due to being cold. They bought me another cold cheese and butter not melted. My chicken was cold.
My brother and his wife’s mashed potatoes were cold.
My husband’s burger was very greasy and he could barely eat it.
The restaurant was 60 degrees there and the waitress couldn’t turn the heat on per manager rules.
The kitchen staff was very rude and mouthing about people returning the food.

Best sit down spot I’ve been to around here. Actual home cooked taste and hearty meals that feel like they were made with love.
I think I seen the manager take an order, cook an order, seat some folks, and some more stuff in the time it took me to pick my food. All with the biggest smile on her face. What a nice lady.
When it was clear I couldn’t finish my huge chicken fried steak (which is beef for the less informed) she offered to take it to the back and pack it up for me.
Not sure I’ve ever had that.
It was so nice I will be back and will for sure be telling my friends about it.
I wish we had BBG in El Dorado, instead of our gross Applebee’s.
Best of luck to that super lady in there doing hustling.
