Corinne was an awesome bartender. We had a no so good experience at another restaurant left and came here. The drinks were delicious then I asked her if she could recommend a sushi my husband would like based of his pickiness and she told us about an off the menu item. The sushi was so good! Im so happy we got the ODB. Thanks for turning our night around! Also I believe the restaurant is reservation only because its so packed we got very lucky to get to the bar.

Accommodating at a very high price. I didn’t want to make any fuss over being plant based but my husband asked. Super friendly and willing to make something different. I was going to be fine with what was on the menu. What we weren’t made aware of is the cost that this would come at. Almost 4x as much as a vegetable roll on the menu was a “freestyle roll” had planned on coming back many times during our visit but after the shock and disappearance of our bartender/server when the bill came it was clear I was taken advantage of. Paid the bill and gave the appropriate tip. Make sure you know what you’re asking for.

The food was most disappointing!! I took a bite of each sushi piece and was done, never happened in my life. It was weirdly overly salty or overly spicy. The scallop was smoother in weird salty sauce. $80 for meal mostly wasted. Would not recommend.

We had a great time celebrating a friend’s birthday here. The food was amazing, the service was as awesome and we loved the atmosphere! I also thought the pricing was very reasonable and the quality of the food exceeded the price point. We will definitely make this a staple for future visits to Big Sky!

I wish I could have given it no stars. The worst sushi I ever had. No taste and each piece fell apart. We should have known when you had have your local guys preparing your sushi. disgusting

Our experience started off on the wrong foot due to the extremely rude behavior from both hostesses. We arrived with high expectations, but the treatment from the moment we walked in was surprisingly hostile. We were told the wait would be about 20 minutes, yet it took nearly an hour to be seated. The system never sent the text notifying us that our table was ready, and when we mentioned this, one hostess simply said, “That’s not my problem.” The other added that we “must have never worked in the food industry” and told us to sit down and wait.

The food itself was good, and I can recommend it. However, the staff—especially the hostesses—need serious training. A restaurant’s atmosphere starts at the door, and the lack of professionalism and kindness made the entire experience far less enjoyable than it should have been.

They opened at 5pm. We walked in at 5:30 and were let know we had an hour and a half wait, therefore we put our name down. An hour and a half went by and we walked in to ask about the reservation. Someone I assume the manager came out and 1. Threw someone under training under the bus. 2. With absolute no courtesy said there is no way we will be seating you. Even in this case , as a mature adult with manners you can be polite and acknowledge that you screwed up someone’s plans. You could have let us know when you knew that so we booked somewhere else – and no hard feelings. However the bluntness, lack of care, rude manner in letting a customer know you won’t be seating them is in my opinion unacceptable and quite frankly rude. “Call ahead next time sorry *with absolute no remorse* “ is probably one of the worst management moves I have ever seen. And to throw the trainee under the bus is pretty low. If you want to come here “call first” lmao and book another res for backup!

Showed up at 5:30, 30 mins after opening and put our name on the list for 6. Hostess told us it would be 1-1.5 hours, so we went across the street for a few drinks and came back. Manager came out and rudely told us that our reservation meant nothing and they’d rather seat a 15 top. Asked if we could split us up and she said no chance. She quickly cooked us before we could even ask about our reservation. Threw the trainee under the bus and took no responsibility. My disabled friend was disrespected and told to “walk”.
