An AMAZING time was had at this lovely establishment! My birthday celebration was truly special thanks to our waiter Taylor. My guest was so thankful to Taylor and his experience as a waiter . The food was delicious and the presentation of everyone’s plates was outstanding. This was my 2nd visit and I was not disappointed. The private event space is spot on for a party under 20.
Also a special thanks to the chefs, the hostess, and the booking staff . All were very accommodating to me .
I cannot wait to dine with them again!

We went in for an early dinner at 6pm and had a wonderful evening. The crab cakes were delicious and the crab dip was very CREAMY but good also. We also had one of the best salads I’ve ever had. The steak was tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. For desert we tried the apple pie dessert that was recommended and it was also delicious.

What a gem of a place! Booked a reservation for an anniversary dinner – so glad we chose this place! The food was 10+ along with the people and the service! We enjoyed learning the history behind the casino from our server Joey – long time employee with a wealth of knowledge. Make sure you ask for him when you arrive. We ended up booking a reservation for Thanksgiving dinner as well. Thank you Silver Slipper for a great anniversary dinner!

Me and my family decided to go to a new place today and we saw this unique spot on Canal Street called the blue Bayou when we walked in. It was A beautiful atmosphere when we walked in and the customer service was five star I asked the server what was good on the menu and she immediately said that y’all chargrilled oysters and the alligator bites When we got the oysters, hands-down, the best I’ve had since I’ve been living in the city normally some places, the oysters still be having little shells in the oyster still and I didn’t have to worry about that with these baby I have to say they know what they are doing And the food oh my God The redfish was cooked perfect everything was delicious on my plate. I tried some of my friends Mardi Gras pasta. I will be getting it next time we come here and my mom‘s are the Poboy looked so delicious. She didn’t even want to share one oyster with me, and my dad had the chicken pasta I tasted, And that chicken was seasoned to perfect perfection but I will be back with My lady so we could go drink at the bar and then I will give a review on the drinks but overall best place I haven’t been to so far

Food was not what I expected. Gumbo had too much filè, crab dip with the brie cheese was a lil overwhelming with Brie taste, bread had some type of seasoning in it that was nasty, the Salad saved them. It was only thing that was awesome. Seafood platter with fried shrimp and oysters was alright. Shrimp too big for me to eat fried but Oysters were perfect. Staff was Awesomsauce.

I’ve been going here regularly for about a year. The quality of the food has gone down considerably. Pictures that you find within Silver Slipper or the restaurant DO NOT look like what you receive. And if there is a change due to them not having something you ordered they bring you what they want without asking.

What a surprise! Lovely fine dining. Filet Mignon was perfect! Wedge salad was great. Dine between 5 & 7 each night for their “Edge” menu. $35 for a great meal. Wine & dessert included.Maitre d’ Robert and waiter Joey are the best!! Escape from the noisy, smokey gambling to a lovely quiet dinner.
