Food was not what I expected. Gumbo had too much filè, crab dip with the brie cheese was a lil overwhelming with Brie taste, bread had some type of seasoning in it that was nasty, the Salad saved them. It was only thing that was awesome. Seafood platter with fried shrimp and oysters was alright. Shrimp too big for me to eat fried but Oysters were perfect. Staff was Awesomsauce.

We were in line for the buffet and one of us walked down to this restaurant to see what it was all about. We got out of the buffet line and headed here. The Sunday Brunch is great. I got the Salmon, spinach and goat cheese omelet and my husband got the surf and turf benedict. Both were delicious, but the lobster was a little too chewy. Service and atmosphere are great. Would definitely come here again.

It was a bit hectic being the last day of the month. It was explained that everyone that has outstanding comps were trying to come in and use them. We were too, so can’t really complain. It was freezing cold, but they were very helpful with that issue. The food was delicious as always! Definitely try the tuna appetizer! The maitre’ d was very accommodating and Marcia is an excellent server!

We have been many times to enjoy the Blue Bayou Restaurant. The prime steaks are the most tender and delicious steaks I have ever eaten and believe me they are much better than many of the high end steak restaurants I have eaten in Chicago, Houston, Washington , New York and many other places. Marsha our waitress of choice is excellent in catering to our discriminating tastes. No a la carte at Blue Bayou. Delicious choice of bread with olive oil puréed garlic and balsamic vinegar and separate butter and a wedge or other salad choice along with vegetable included. Specials as well. Food service manager and the Blue Bayou restaurant manager are the best. Go and enjoy. Reservations highly suggested.

So today we ordered some food. The waiter dropped some items off one plate and sat the other plate on the trash can. A regular customer ran over to help and touched the plate and food. The waiter tried to give us the plate that another customer touched and that sat on a trash can. We told him to change the order. He asked if we wanted a new plate and we said no a whole new order. The waiter came back in 4 minutes with a “new order” which it takes more than 4 minutes to cook a burger and fries. We told him to just give us a refund. We will never eat here again!!!!!!! We will also be letting everyone we know not to eat here again along with the pictures of the food on the trash can. We will also be reporting this to the corporate office. This is a disgrace.
