After four years of driving by Blue Bay we finally decided to give it a try. Part of the reason why we did not try it sooner is that we were told it was all fried food and all they had was seafood. Both of these observations were wrong. We were pleasantly surprised to see an expansive menu that included a variety of foods including salads, fresh veggies, chicken and of course expansive seafood options. However, there are a variety of ways the seafood can be prepared including grilled and broiled. I had the Swai fish broiled and it was very good. Others had the Alaskan white fish broiled and that was also good. The fried baby shrimp was a nice addition and all the meals we ordered came with a side salad, an additional side and an endless supply of hush puppies. We did not try the steak or fried chicken but were told both are excellent. The staff was also very nice and attentive. So glad we tried out Blue Bay and will be visiting them again in the near future!

This was a dinner for my Aunt. It started out with about 15 people but our group jumped to over 25 people. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating to add an additional table and chairs as needed.
The waitress was amazing with getting everyone’s order. There were several other groups and events going on that day as well. So it was extremely busy. However, it didn’t take too long for our food after placing the orders. Even with all the orders, they were able to get the entire group’s food out at the same time.
The food was very good overall and everything went so well. Our family was excited to see my Aunt, and Blue Bay really made the experience even more memorable.

Went for the first time last week. I very highly recommend. Friendly staff, clean tables, Excellent broiled chicken and shrimp. Enjoyed the atmosphere, felt like being in Murrels Inlet or Surfside. Definitely reccommend.

Blue Bay is delicious! I love me some good tasting fried seafood! Our server was so sweet and polite as well! I ordered the large Whole Flounder plate w Scallops for the choose two and my beautiful Samantha got the Baked Spaghetti! So yummy! We’ll definitely be back!

Our waitress was very attentive even though she was extremely busy. Hush puppies are great!Crab cakes are delicious!!! Chicken Parm was ok I had much better and the fried flounder was decent. Overall it was good. I’ll be back to try another menu item and post again.

My dad got some food for me for my birthday and when we brought it to the house the chicken was not cooked like it was supposed to be it was grilled marinated chicken and it was not good. My brother and my dad both got the chicken marinated and they had to throw it away they ate some of it but it didn’t taste right. About an hour and a half my dad got sick and he messed his clothes up and I tried to call out there and tell them before they even closed and they wouldn’t answer the phone. The lady that is the manager there or works up front got nasty with my dad when he tried to tell her that wasn’t what he ordered. They tried to get a child’s spaghetti to go and the lady up front the manager told him she couldn’t sell him a child’s spaghetti. What was the reason for that she didn’t know that it wasn’t for a child it was a to-go plate. Their food is nasty she is a very nasty person towards her customers and we will not ever go back there again. I’m going to report this to the health department that my dad got sick from that chicken. If they want to stay in business they need to get rid of her for refusing to sell a child’s spaghetti to carry out and my Dad tried to tell her that chicken wasn’t good. It was a total disappointment!!!! If we want to go to a seafood restaurant we will wait until Thursday when Jay’s seafood opens up they know how to treat people nice and their food is delicious

Wow! Outstanding warm, friendly and efficient service. Excellent Alaskan crab legs and flounder. Very affordable prices for fresh seafood. Unique decor.

I knew I was in for a good treat, when I noticed the beautiful waterfall as soon as I entered the building!
I definitely recommend getting the clam chowder as an appetizer!
