What a surprise! Will be back again and again. The food is excellent and while it’s not table service, the service is helpful and fairly quick. Did I mention the food is delicious? I love their margaritas here. It’s not tequila. It’s a wine tequila. Must try.
I love that they have booths at this place.
We met the owner. Hands-on, very interested in his customers’ comfort and experience.

Incredible food, I had a carne asada super burrito and it might be the best carne asada I have ever had. I am only in the area for a few days and am definitely considering going back multiple times.

I stumbled upon Blue Agave Mexican Restaurant by accident and decided to place a last-minute order. To my surprise, they fulfilled it without any issues, which was already a great first impression. I returned another day to dine in, and I have to say, I was shocked—Agoura Hills isn’t exactly known for having the best Mexican food, but Blue Agave, a new restaurant in town, is a total hidden gem!
The food is super authentic! But what really stood out was the hospitality—both times I visited, the owner was there, genuinely engaged, and making sure customers felt like they were right at home. You don’t see that kind of dedication often, and it made the experience even better.
Now, just to be clear, I was NOT paid to write this review—though if Blue Agave wants to start paying me in tacos, I’m open to negotiations. In all seriousness, I’m just excited to finally have quality, authentic Mexican food in Agoura Hills. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Incredibly happy to have a great Mexican restaurant locally again! The food was delicious. We had a chilli relleno, and a chicken enchilada combo. The chicken. It was so so so good. Everything was, including my horchata.
Very nice salsa bar, with hot self serve chips. The labels on the salsa – genuinely funny. I was cracking up at the names, giving you an idea of how spicy everything was.
The place is small, very very clean, and I’m sure they will need more space. Or, we will all be waiting in line for dine in.

Finally!! A place in Agoura Hills that has authentic and tasty Mexican food. I daresay that I may like their torta better than Taco Reyes and Taqueria el Tapatio. They also have an excellent salsa bar. I’m super happy now I don’t need to drive far for good Mexican food.

Stumbled upon this place. The food was amazing, the service was great. I got the Aldo de rez and it was delicious. They have a free nachos bar also. You can tell its family owned mom and pops spot that works really hard and really caters to their customers. 10/10 recommend and will be returning!

My family and I came here for the first time and we really enjoyed ourselves! It’s real authentic high quality Mexican food. And they were also so kind and friendly with our children. Their salsa bar was great. We are so excited that a delicious Mexican food restaurant just opened up near our house.

A great authentic casual Mexican spot… exactly what Agoura is missing. Sometimes you don’t want a fancy sit down, but like real AUTHENTIC delicious food that is not gentrified. I haven’t tried of much of menu yet except the chips and salsa which were good, and a carne asada taco. I ordered a carne asada taco and it came with generous amount of well seasoned carne asada. There was a salsa bar and complimentary self serve chips. The salsa bar itself was authentic offering a variety of salsa but also sliced serranos, radish, etc. The owner was very friendly. Also, they have screens on with sports etc. which is awesome for sports fans (I know my husband will appreciate).The pricing was fair, and the place was clean. Highly recommend!

– Asada Fries: this was ok, not the best. The fries itself suck and wasn’t tasty. The shredded cheese is like a glue. Really bad.
– Jumbo Burrito with Chicken: chicken has no taste at all.
I would not recommend ordering food here.
