Came in and the servers barely even waited at my table, could barely find anyone to even just get a refill on a drink. The service was not the best, I don’t think I’ll be coming back. The food wasn’t the best, they also added gratuity to the tab.

Food and service were both excellent! Waitress was very friendly and efficient. Everything we ordered came out quickly. Portions were generous. The blue lights inside were a bit intense, so luckily we were able to find a table outside.

The lack of knowledge, training & competency the manager of this restaurant has, astonishes me. Almost ordered a plate that contains an ingredient I’m allergic to, after I made clear I cannot eat. To messing up the whole tables order, & never once refilling our drinks. He would rather conversate with staff & people at the bar than attending us or even acknowledge us. All this during a slow almost empty day. Safety & service should be the highest regard in any restaurant establishment. First time I made it clear & did not feel one ounce of shame leaving NO tip!! The owner certainly dodged a lawsuit

Our experience here was excellent. I’m glad we didn’t base our choice in the 3.7 rating. The corn tortillas and pico were made fresh in-house and were delicious! Rice was great, as well, perfectly prepared. Our server was very attentive and did an excellent job. (I think his name was Able). We will definitely be going back again to try the homemade crunchy taco shells! The atmosphere was nice as well. We ate inside. Very clean and modern.

On the surface, this restaurant dazzles with its trendy decor and an inviting menu. However, it quickly becomes clear that looks can be deceiving.
The ambiance is appealing, with stylish lighting and a modern vibe that sets high expectations. Unfortunately, the food does not deliver on that promise. My carne fajitas, which should have been a highlight, were a disappointment. The portion was overwhelmingly composed of green and red peppers and onions, with only a sparse amount of meat. It felt more like a vegetable medley than a well-balanced fajita.
The accompanying beans were another letdown—mushy and watered down, they barely resembled their intended form. The chips also tasted stale and all of the dips were bland. It was disheartening to see such potential squandered on bland, uninspired dishes.
On a positive note, the quirky lights leading to the bathroom added a fun touch to the experience. It’s a shame that the food didn’t match that creativity. Overall, this spot may look great, but if you’re in search of a satisfying and flavorful Mexican place, you might want to look elsewhere. I gave two stars because one for nice decor and the other for good customer service.

We found the restaurant to be trendy and appealing. Blue Agave has the feel of an upscale restaurant and local hangout to enjoy just chips and cheese if you prefer.
My wife and I each had shrimp fajitas, which were delightful as the pictures show. We found the cheese a lot thicker than most normal Mexican restaurants. I would say their cheese dip is the best we have had in SWFL. We enjoyed the beans and side dishes as well.
Our drinks were perfect, as I am a very picky strawberry daiquiri drinker.
One of the coolest features in the restaurant is how the wall lights come on in sequence as you walk to the restroom.
Overall, we would give Blue Agave a 10 out of 10 on everything. This restaurant came recommended to us, so we drove the 2 hour round-trip to try it out.
It was worth the trip:)

Eduardo was the best. His attention to service and to make sure we were good was 1000 out of 10. Yes the food was good too, but his service is the only reason I’ll be coming back. If you ever come only and always ask for him.

Everything was wonderful. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Our server,Adi, was amazing! We told her it was our first time there and she made our experience so much fun. And the food was delicious! No idea why this place has 3.7 stars.

Food is great, greater great, beaides that had horrible time with the service a few stupid up charges of things that i did not order like pico de gallo with the meal on the plate. Got double cap and coke cause i wanted more drink and less ice, did not find out till the end. spent 80 bucjs for a burrito and two tacos.
