The restaurant location is set in view of the vermillion cliffs, easy to access and well maintained. We had no wait to be seated. The facility is smaller but quaint. The staff greeted us and got us seated. Very inviting atmosphere. Delicious salsa and fresh chips. Shrimp tacos are the bomb and the rest of our food fantastic. Reasonably priced for the area. Great place to eat. Definitely going to go back again. Highly recommended!

Do not patronize this business! Unbelievable this place has a rating at all. We – a group of four, waited to be seated. After a very long wait. We seated ourselves. The only employee we noticed, was engaged in conversation with the only other person in the restaurant. She was absolutely oblivious to anyone or anything else. After trying to get her attention, we all walked out. So disrespectful! Good for them – that business is so good, they can turn people away – with no one else in the restaurant. Absolutely terrible!!

Definitely THE best Mexican culinary experience in Southern Utah (even though this is located in the Arizona Strip). The Top Shelf Margarita is the bomb, especially if Ruby is making it.

I am back for some hiking and camping around the area.
I ordered the Al Pastor Chimichanga, complimentary chips and salsas with your order, and 2 Palomas (tequila drink with grapefruit soda).
Service was attentive and kind. The food is amazing, best authentic al pastor meat that I’ve had in a while. Chips are fresh homemade (not the bagged kind).
Salsas are delicious.
Paloma drinks please don’t change the recipe and keep them coming.

OUTSTANDING! Found this restaurant randomly while preparing for our roadtrip to Utah and WOW! The food was ridiculous! The salsa was some of the best I’ve ever tried in a Mexican Restaurant! My husband got the Fajita platter, I had the shrimp tacos and both were amazing! So flavorful, what a little gem here in Hildale! Service was excellent too!

Craving Mexican food for lunch on our trip back to the airport we saw the sign for Blue Agave and pulled off the highway at Colorado City. A restaurant on a residential street with a modest but welcoming interior, we were warmly greeted and seated right away. Our hopes were raised by the menu but when the chips and salsa arrived ( red roasted tomato salsa and green tomatillo lime) we knew we were onto something special. Enchiladas and huaraches later we left feeling grateful we found this gem of a restaurant hidden away. So worth the short detour!!
