This meal was too much for me. I ordered the three al carbon tacos. I ordered the salad that included mushrooms, shrimp, and avocado. Then I ordered the queso with the chips. I needed a box. This was good portion size with good flavor. I liked the tacos. The salad filled me up. The queso was good , but I had to eat that the next morning. Overall good meal , good price and good portion size

Ate here for lunch on a Sunday and it was very quiet with not many customers around probably due to people traveling during Labor Day weekend. The place was super colorful and vibrant. Great decor and vibe about the place. Definitely helps to great a festive mood. My wife and I tried their sangrias at $10 each and they were huge! Also, they weren’t as sweet as other sangrias we’ve tried from other places, which I appreciated. I ended up eating the “Seafood Chimichanga”, which sounded unique to me and haven’t really seen this dish at any other Mexican restaurants before. I was glad I did because it was quite flavorful, had a crispy flakiness to the outer tortilla. All the ingredients seemed very fresh inside and cooked to perfection with just the right amount of cream sauce. Btw, both my wife and I opted to get black beans instead of refried beans just because we were in that type of mood. Lucas was our server and gave us great service. The happy hour and Taco Tuesday specials look awesome, so we are definitely going to have to come back here again sometime!

We had lunch there a few days ago. Very impressed with the quality of arroz con pollo (huge plate) and chalupa and burrito with chicken (very flavorful). Freshly prepared and delicious. Service was very good and prices are very reasonable. We will definitely visit again soon. You should too.

First and last time. Waited 45mins for food,asked for well done and ribeye was not well cook at all. Worst salsa ever tried, was literally eating ketchup. Service terrible, lady at front didn’t even said hi. Waitress try to do his best but not best service. Sad to said I m going home without eating.

Very tasty! Great cheerful staff and ambiance. Primary colored painted tables, chairs, wall hangings of villages, etc. I had the Baja salad which was loaded with steak. Added some chulula and it was very good. My dad had the cheese quesedillas which filled the plate and made him smile. The parking lot was empty on a Friday. Hoping that’s no indication of things to come as I’d definitely go back to Blue Agave.

It would be nice to get some service around here.. our server is so focused on hugging and touching the man at the bar that she is unable to take care of us . She is the only server here and has maybe 4 other tables and is way too focused on her boyfriend . Not appropriate for a work atmosphere.

**updated 11/2020, they’ve now been on dirty dining for rodents.** Went with some friends after work for some margaritas and appetizers and was very disappointed. it’s convenient because we work in the same plaza however overall bad experience. the margaritas are pre-made and they taste just as such. all you taste is lime flavoring and ice. the queso was super watery, it looked like warm milk. the guacamole was flavorless and not your usual guacamole. when we let the waitress know our concerns, she dismissed it and said “it’s not for everyone.” she brought the check and it came up to $38.65 for 2 full price margaritas, which should have been rung up as a happy hour offer for the buy 1, get 1. along with the queso and guac at full price. i will never be coming back and as far as customer service she could have taken an item off or done the drinks correctly for the buy 1, get 1 margaritas. highly disappointed and will not return.
