The apple salad was amazing! The flank steak was a winner too! Neither desert was great but they were decent. The baked brie was mostly breading from the pastry. Most of the items we got were from a restuarant week special and may not be offered at other times. The service was great. I will be back.

This bar is a little farther than the rest of those centered in Roanoke, but worth the few extra steps. They have a cool overlook, section that affords a nice view of everything. Service was great, and Chris was the man behind the bar. The food mix was the classic bar fare, with a few specials and local favorites.

Blue 5 is a fantastic restaurant with really good food and a beer selection not only large, but also not super expensive. Great place to meet and just have a few drinks with friends. Love the atmosphere and the live bands are usually very good as well. Never had a bad experience with waitstaff or barstaff either.

My husband and I went here last week. The place is pretty, the appetizers were awesome! He had ribs, and I the fried oysters. The sauces were fantastic. For dinner I got crab cakes which were very salty. We’d probably come to see a band n get appetizers but not dinner.

The food here is incredible. When I worked downtown before I moved away this was a happy hour spot with some girlfriends. Live music on the weekends made it a pretty decent date spot. It saved me from dull conversations more than once. I went back about a week ago on a trip back home and found it just as enjoyable. Right down to one of the most passionate bartenders I’ve seen in years. Highly recommend.

The food is pretty good, it’s upscale bar food. We had the pretzel bites appetizer which was great. They are cut pieces of sure pretzels and the cheese today came with them was great. Two of the people with me got burgers, but of which were not cooked as ordered. One was overdone and one was underdone. The drinks were had were tasty. Or server was very friendly. The place was not very crowded, but it was very loud even though there was no music when we were there.
