Just walked across the street to try Blú Mist’s new location. Being new to Thai food, I wasn’t sure what to expect.
My wife ordered the red curry while I went with the Pad See Ew. Both were AMAZING! We also had a chicken satay appetizer that was excellent.
Cass was our server and she was nothing short of wonderful. Very knowledgable, answered all of my nonsensical “newbie to Thai” questions and was an absolute joy.
Will definitely become regulars!

Wonderful establishment. Got seated nd ordered quickly. Staff was friendly and professional. Clean restroom facilities. Food was good. Really loved the mango. Sticky rice and coconut ice cream. They make theirs in house and its delicious!! The presentation was beautiful too. Nice touch with the banana leaf.

I was genuinely so excited to hear Blu Mist had reopened. It was one of my absolute favorite restaurants, and I was honestly heartbroken when it closed. We came in tonight expecting the same quality and experience we loved, but unfortunately, it was nothing like the original.
I specifically asked our server if the dish still came with the pineapple, and she confirmed that it did. However, when the food was served, it didn’t have it. When I asked again, she said, “yeah, I guess some more things changed.” That was frustrating, because had we known that upfront, we wouldn’t have ordered it at all. It felt like nobody really knew what was going on with the menu.
My husband was also served the wrong dish entirely. When it was brought back out after we sent it back, it had tomatoes on it, which he is allergic to. We had to send it back again. At that point, it was beyond disappointing.
We were so discouraged that we just paid and left without finishing our meal.
Blu Mist used to be known for its consistency, quality, and attention to detail. This experience felt disorganized and nothing like the original. I truly hope they can get back to what made Blu Mist so special, because right now, it just isn’t the same.

Tiffany was very knowledgeable about the menu and things I may like. I got the dinner taco plate with one shrimp and one chicken and a side salad! So so good! Portions and great contrast of taste! Highly recommend!

It’s a stretch to give this 3 stars. We had 2 drinks, mine was just as it should be, the other a blue mist drink was as boring as champagne and blue dye. The tuna was over cooked, the scallops were over cooked. My tenderloin was a nice cut but somewhat boring. The shallots were both underdone and some pieces overdone. Our entrees can out about 5 mins apart. Service was fine. Can’t say I’d go back.

Eugene has many Thai food restaurants. Blu Mist has several fusion dishes but also “Thai Thai” dishes on their menu which are more traditional.
We tried the salad rolls, yellow/red curry with egg noodles, and pad Thai. All were delicious and had impressive presentation.
Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. I’d recommend eating here for Thai and Thai fusion.

Vee and Brynn are the best.
Food, cocktails, atmosphere, the service. Blu mist is back with all the same great food elevated cocktails and service. They were missed and they’re back having not skipped a beat!
